Overall experience was good! Loved the interior, absolutely beautiful! Very reasonable priced and good food! The two things let the place down: my husband asked for a new chair because the one he was sitting was wobbly, he got a new chair just as wobbly and the guy serving us said in a very ignorant way that the floor is not levelled, the building was built in 17…… ! A few minutes later my husband asked a girl working there for another chair, and it was perfect, nothing wrong with the floor, the chairs were just not strong enough! Second, the menu never mentioned that the schnitzel is made out of pork, we wouldn’t have ordered it! I’m sure somebody who eats pork would have like it but we didn’t!

The service and knowledge of the staff was incredible. I had a beer that only exists at the cellar bar, the Monck House Red Ale and it was incredible. The whole bar exists in the cellar of the Merrion Hotel and creates this amazing close and intimate atmosphere or a nice quiet place to have a conversation and some excellent drinks. I would highly recommend a stop here every time visiting Dublin.

I was celebrating my wedding anniversary. They are amazing staff, lovely place for special occasions like this and the food is so delicious. They gave us a glass of champagne free of charge r for our wedding anniversary. I would come back again and it's even my second time.

I recently visited this bar and it was a great decision! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day.

What truly made the evening memorable was the bartender, Noel. Noel is a master of his craft. His cocktails are not only delicious but also visually stunning. It's clear that he has a real passion for mixing drinks and isn't afraid to get creative.

I particularly appreciated his friendly and attentive service. Noel greeted us warmly right away and used his expertise to guide us through the menu. Whether you're looking for a classic cocktail or something new, Noel always has the perfect recommendation.

Overall, it was an excellent evening, and I highly recommend this bar, especially if Noel is behind the counter. I’ll definitely be...

Had a section booked for my birthday, lovely large space with various areas to sit. Had the drink I wanted for my guests ion ice upon arrival. However, I have some friends that do not drink alcohol and could not have a coke or even an orange juice as they supposedly don’t serve such? I just think it’s slightly odd for a bar not to even have what could be considered as simple mixers or just another option for people that don’t drink but want to be with their friends. Overall, fairly good, service was decent and ambience was good. Would be even nicer with some...
