Etto was an incredible dining experience overall. We didn’t have a reservation, but they were kind enough to seat us right away at the bar. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the food quality is truly 10/10. We shared a few dishes to start, bread and a salad and every bite was exceptional. The tomato salad with fresh cheese, cherry, kalamata olive, and basil oil was absolutely to die for; I easily could have ordered a second. For mains, I had the roast cod with smoked eel, stuffed courgette flower, confit tomato, and lobster bisque an outstanding dish. The hispi cabbage with anchovy dressing, miso mayo, and crispy onion was another highlight, and I’d highly recommend it as a side. The hashed potatoes, however, weren’t for me they were very fried and didn’t pair well with the rest of the dishes. Personally, I would have preferred a creamy mash. My wife ordered the house special, a raviolio in truffle sauce, which was rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. Service was quick and attentive, but unfortunately, hygiene fell short. We noticed our waitress coughing into her hand and then cutting bread/serving food from the counter with that same hand, which was disappointing and hard to ignore. Ratings • Food: 10/10 • Atmosphere: 10/10 • Speed/Delivery: 8/10 • Attention to detail: 10/10 • Hygiene: 4/10 Overall, I’d still recommend Etto for the phenomenal food and atmosphere, but I hope they tighten up on hygiene standards because everything else about this restaurant is excellent.

I had the pleasure of eating at Etto on my recent trip to Dublin. It's a small unassuming restaurant with alot of personality. The restaurant was super busy, yet there was a reassuring calmness from the staff. Service was great, super-friendly, knowledgable and attentive. For dinner, I started with the Scallop crudo with radish, pomelo, buttermilk and horseradish. It was AMAZING! The flavors worked so well together and the scallop was so tender. (I just started daydreaming about the dish and wish I were back there right now to have another plate!) For my main I had the Aged Parmesan Ravioli with sweet corn, cep, calçot leek and roasted hazelnut pesto. Another amazing dish! At first I was concerned with the corn, as it had been charred and I was afraid it would overpower the dish, but it did not. It was the perfect blend of flavors and textures. And to finish my meal, I had the Whisky Caramel tart with milk ice cream. I thought I had just died and gone to heaven. What a great way to finish an incredible meal. I had some great recommendations and wine pairings with the meal, including a fabulous Vin Santo to go with the Caramel Tart. I highly recommend ETTO if you are in Dublin!

It may sound bizarre, but I had been feeling very down about the state Dublin has been falling into in recent times - overpriced and soulless. A meal here has given me a new feeling of excitement about the place. Etto is highly unpretentious, reasonably priced, friendly and professional, and most importantly - serves truly incredible food.

We came earlier tonight (a wednesday) and got 2 tasting menus with a bottle of sublime wine, a bottle of sparkling water and 2 espressos for the grand old price of €117. The tasting menu was less a tasting and more of a series of starters and mains - the quantity of food for €36 per person was incredible. And not only that, the quality of food was impeccable. The pork blew us both away - both of us said the best pork we ever had. Every detail down to the olive oil and coffee was perfection. The wine at €35 was reasonble considering the high quality. (The prunes are just as good as I expected).

Last but not least our waiter Luca was fantastic. He was only 2 days in the job supposedly? Seems impossible to believe. He had such an excellent understanding of knowing exactly how much to chat and when to leave us to eat, as well as in depth knowledge of the food. Whoever does the hiring in Etto must be highly skilled!

Fantastic...

Amazing restaurant. Due to the pandemic they have the interior a bit "difficult/funny" but after you see the menu .... OMG the menu is so good, as good is the wine menu. The waiter was super helpful and he knew what he was talking about. Food - just I can say "Incredible", super good quality, detail, hight to cuisine! - looks better than some Michelin stars restaurants. We ordered the croquets + calcots & the tartar (starters) + rabbit & risotto (main) + chocolate deserts "one of the best desserts I ever tried, so well balanced" The wine list (red wine lover) it's just an explosion (so many and so good). Overall experience - 100% Excellent - Thanks for a nice night.

The only thing that I can mention is between the starters and the main, we had to wait around 30 min for the rabbit and also they don't read the messages in open table. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they didn't realise - I think it's a good point to improve due to the restaurant is small with no more than 10 people to take care of.

After a year, place is the same , same quality, same details on the food, simply amazing! "The duck unreal!" This time they acknowledge the message and a candle came with the dessert (so...
