My experience with Pizza Uno has been nothing short of a complete disaster, and I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from them to look elsewhere. Yesterday's delivery was a perfect example of their consistent incompetence. We waited over TWO HOURS for a pizza that should have taken minutes, given that I live within the immediate vicinity.

When I called to inquire about the delay, I was met with the tired, seemingly perpetual excuse of a "broken oven." A quick glance at other reviews reveals this is their standard response for their chronic delays. After being assured the pizza would arrive in 10 minutes, we waited another full hour. Attempts to call back were met with silence – they simply refused to answer the phone. This level of disregard for customers is appalling.

But the delivery debacle isn't an isolated incident. My Christmas visit to the restaurant was equally disastrous. I called TWICE to book a table for 14 people, specifically confirming the seating arrangements. Despite their assurances, upon arrival, we were only provided seating for 12, and were told to split our party onto a separate, distant table. They showed absolutely no concern for the fact that I had taken the time to confirm the booking multiple times. Pizza Uno's service is consistently abysmal. They clearly have no respect for their customers' time or bookings. Their excuses are repetitive and their customer service is non-existent. Save yourself the frustration and order from a restaurant that values its patrons. This was, without a doubt, the WORST experience I've ever had with a restaurant, and I will never...

Ok. This was a pretty bad experience . I was eating on my own and sat at the bar. 1. The music was way too loud and I couldn’t hear my own music on my AirPods and I’m not being unreasonably cranky about this. 2. The menus pretty short and while Uno may be very pleased that they use authentic ingredients, none of these are explained on the menu. Two of the 4 starters or bites are pizza dough. There are two salads and a list of ten pizzas. To which you can add different toppings, which might be a good idea (but expensive for a pizza already costing €14) because 3. The pizza had no taste. A wet filling (Han and mushrooms) on a floppy base surrounded by a large ring of pizza dough (you can buy dips to .. add some flavour). Authentic is all very well ... but for a pizza I’d like to taste more than tomato. Hey maybe I just don’t like these pizzas. 4. The menu is short and boring. Reminds me of Masa ... after a couple of visits you’ll have eaten everything on the menu you want to ... why go back.? 5. I know this is a cranky review but the “theatrical’ experience of watching pizza being prepared doesn’t work at all especially when they wheel out 12 plastic crates of pizza dough. The place just doesn’t seem to work that way. It’s a theatrical as Spar. It’s a pity because the staff (and there are a lot of...

I visited Uno Pizza on its 2nd day of being open, it looks nice inside, but the amount of space around the entrance and bar is crazy when the dining area seems so cramped and pushed into a corner. Our party really loved the pizza, it was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The drinks though were bad. Overpriced and not made well, I ordered an Aperol Spritz which was either missing the prosecco or just not portioned correctly as it was very harshly strong and the glass was only 1/4 full when given to me. Another person in our party ordered one too and it was the same as mine, but as were leaving the bartender was different and someone else at another table was delivered an Aperol Spritz that was full and bubbly as it should be. Another issue was the service. Uno appears to be slightly upscale however the service is not on par. Our waitress took our plates away one at a time as we finished instead of allowing the table to finish and then clearing the table. She then proceeded to take our paper menus away, she returned and sprayed and cleaned our table and then placed new menus down, all while we were sitting there with our drinks. I hope these issues are teething issues because I would love to return to Uno and be able to change my review, but the pizza alone is not enough to warrant a...

As an Italian, I feel well-positioned to assess the authenticity and quality of a pizza place, and unfortunately, this one falls short on several fronts. To begin with, offering pineapple as a topping while claiming to be Italian is misleading at best. If you’re going to serve that, at least be honest about not being a traditional Italian pizzeria. Let chains like Domino’s handle that kind of pizza. Secondly, while the pizza’s texture and ingredients showed potential, the flavor was completely overshadowed by one critical flaw: the tomato sauce. It was extremely acidic, which clearly indicates poor preparation or low-quality ingredients. The service was passable, but there’s a lot of room for improvement in attentiveness and professionalism. Moreover, the constant in-and-out of delivery staff through an open door significantly disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing meal. It felt more like a transit hub than a dine-in restaurant. Unless these issues are addressed with urgency, I won’t be returning—and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic or enjoyable Italian dining experience.

**UNO Pizza Rathmines, Dublin** UNO Pizza delivers the real taste of Italy in Dublin. The **pizza is authentically Neapolitan, light, and incredibly easy to enjoy** — one of those pies you can finish without feeling heavy. You can dine in, but I chose to take mine away and eat it by the canal just a few minutes away, paired with a cold **Birra Moretti** on a summer afternoon — absolutely perfect. I also love the little details that connect back to Naples: the dĂ©cor, the vibe, and especially the **wine list**, which includes **Falanghina grown on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius**. I tried this wine years ago while visiting the volcano itself, and it’s amazing to be able to find it here in Dublin. On top of it all, the **service is excellent** — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. UNO Pizza is easily one of the best places in Dublin if you’re after authentic Neapolitan pizza and a slice of Italian soul.
