Bun Bros Swords — Restaurant in Fingal

Order confirmed on Deliveroo at 15.35 for delivery at approx 16.10.

Called at 16.17 and was told Driver was in car park and would be with me shortly. According to Google maps it takes 7 minutes from there to the hotel I was in.

15 minutes later I call again and am asked is he not there yet?

Lady calls driver who says 3 minutes away. I ask to speak to a manager and am told he will call you if he comes in....

5 minutes later she is still on the phone and again telling me 3 minutes. I enquired why they say 35 minutes when delivery is now over an hour. She told me that wasn't their fault as they had their machine on busy.

I highlighted that the 3 minutes has passed.... she then tells me that the driver is outside the hotel and I am not there. I am standing in front of the hotel at this time.

Driver eventually arrived at 16.45 (1hr 10 minutes after placing order)

So the food.....

Firstly cutlery was requested as one of the items was curry chips. None was included.

So the items ordered were

Smokie Bro Curry fries Beer batter onion rings Chicken bro (upgrade) Cookie Taster Chicken wings Sweet potato fries

So let's look at the positives:

Chicken wings were OK.

Chicken bro burger was luke warm, but had good flavour

Cookies were burnt but warm and my colleague felt they were flavoursome.

The burnt sticks posing as sweet potato fries were the best of the disappointing sides.

The curry chips had approx a tablespoon of curry sauce over them and greatly enhanced the stale cold chips they touched.

Onion rings were cold and hard. People eating these will help keep dentists in business with broken teeth.

Smokie Bro was a cold sloppy mess.

I firmly believe everywhere can have a bad day, but I couldn't bring myself to try here again as there is no passion or pride in what is served.

Sadly disappointing and I will update IF I hear from a manager.

In conclusion save your money for...

This shop is a disgrace i ordered a meal from just eat it said it was delivered... No food came i complained to just eat who offered me 8 euro back from a 20 euro order... I called into the shop to sort this issue out amicabally...i was told to wait for the the delivery driver who between him and the manager basically bullied me out of the shop I will be pursueing...

I decided to give it a go after reading a review here saying that, even though they were unsure because of the negative reviews as I was as well, they liked the food. I must say that it was a good surprise. The burger was good, tasty and the chips are really good, hot and with good quality. I'll definitely...
