A Hidden Gem for Brunch in Galway

This café is a fantastic spot to grab a bite after a walk along the Prom, especially when the sun is shining. One interesting thing I’ve noticed: even when it’s windy on the Prom, this place feels surprisingly sheltered. You can sit outside, soak up the sun, and watch the seagulls glide by—it's a lovely, relaxing experience.

Right now, it’s our favorite place for brunch in Galway.

A few words about the setting: there are tables inside, but my favorite spot is the spacious outdoor terrace. It has around 10 or more tables and offers a great atmosphere. The café seems to be quite popular with the Latin American community, which adds a unique charm and vibrant energy to the place. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always on the move, making sure everyone is well taken care of.

Now, about the food and coffee: they serve excellent coffee with a good variety to choose from. Last time, I had a cortado—it was fantastic. This time, I went for a latte, and the milk foam was beautifully done—not overheated, just right. You can sit back, chat with your company, or simply enjoy the surroundings while waiting for your food.

We tried different versions of scrambled eggs and loaded toast. Everything was absolutely delicious. I especially appreciated that they serve whole-cut avocado instead of a paste—it’s a small detail, but it shows they don’t...

What a great surprise to find a Brazilian restaurant in galway, the place is in Salthill On the GCI building, lots of parking outside for free Great outside area with tables with a nice view of galway bay The food was superb. We had some Brazilian specialties like cheese bread and coxinha as a appetizers For main we order toscana sausage with rice and beans, chips and vinaigrette tomatoes. My son had the classic burger and was delicious. My wife had the sirloin steak with rice and beans chips and tomatoes vinaigrette. And the youngest had a grill chicken with all the sides. For drink obviously we recommend the guaranà drink. Coffee was really good but the most interesting and incredible thing we had as a dessert. Ask for the açaí in a cup with condensed milk ...

Fabulous food every time, beautiful creamy coffee and wonderfully friendly staff - why else wouldn't you want to try here?! Anytime we eat here, it really is a wonderful experience whether it's inside away from the rain and wind or outside when the sun is beaming. Prices are very justified and great which is an added bonus. It is one place in Galway where you feel as part of a family once you walk in the door. And all of the staff are great with children - which is also a bonus as some children get up to a lot of mischief! I'm intrigued to see if she will get a bigger place as it is always very busy - it is...

Amazing, authentic Brazilian restaurant with many traditional menu options. Welcomed by their friendly staff, we sat down outside, waiting in great anticipation to try their food. We've tried the Brazilian lunch consisting of rice, beans, steak, sausage, and potatoes. For dessert, we've tried their mouth-watering Brigadeiro, which is undoubtedly one of the best sweets I've ever had. The cheesecake and Açai were a great way to conclude our comprehensive lunch, and we were stuffed for hours. 😊 When you're in Galway, make sure to stop by and get an authentic taste of the Brazilian kitchen!

I order fries, they have no fries, even doe people were eating it 10mins after my order. Chicken burger, or salgadinhos, neither. The nachos's sourcream was off, weird guacamole taste, the vegan brunch so salty, rice un tasted as the soya beef like a sole's shoes. We couldn't eat it and they didn't even offer a type or discount. When they asked if everythings ok (30min after bringing the food) we said no, and got no response or anything. Such disappointment. I tried time ago with another menu, for that we decided to came. No recommended at all, AVOID IT!
