A very disappointing lunch. We ordered two focaccia sandwiches and waited an hour for the food to arrive- when we ordered there was no indication it would take this long. We asked twice within the hour if our food was on its way and they just said it would be soon. When the food finally did arrive they were both ciabattas which were hard and dry. When we pointed out that this was not what we ordered the staff stated simply it was ciabattas despite the menu saying focaccia. Read moreThe place is a very nice and cozy café hidden in one of Galway’s streets. The dark hot chocolate though, didn’t meet our expectations. The description on the menu was far from reality. It would be better to be informed beforehand, while ordering, that the drink would be missing the toppings that are listed in the menu. Also the chocolate itself tasted like cheap chocolate milk. It was not worth the money, even though the server gave us a little discount because they were out of marshmallows, which we did not now until we got the drinks. Also toilets did not work and people who came later got coffee...
Read moreLove this cafe!! We noticed the WIFI sign outside so we knew we could work there for a few hours. The barista is so nice and friendly. I got a flat white with oat milk it was great! We worked for a few hours, they had two plugs beside us. We went back the next day and sat upstairs - plenty of seats and plugs. I got a decaf latte this time it was so nice! He always gives you little chocolates too, such a lovely touch. Oh and he even gave us water, great service!! I 100% recommend this cafe if you are in Galway. The only criticism I have is it felt a bit chilly...
