Drink get drank, went mad on the sauce

and wake up. My wife divorced me, dog won't look at me. The kids are sent to Gaza "because it's safer for them there!".

They found me in a Galway Baby Brewery tee shirt, half a curry cheese chip, pissed(that was okay). The the worst thing I was watching RTE THE LATE LATE SHOW and laughing to his jokes. My wife called the priest first then her mother. The mother in law that was my rock since mine passed away. I seen them get into the car and the mother in law (Betty), she walks up to me and whispers "you went FULL SAIL'.

I have been sober for 4 years now, A lot has changed in the world. When I sit on the edge of this mountain (near where my camp is) I can hear the wind whistle "full...

The Salt House was a lucky find. We didn't even plan to sattle on this evening, but it was THAT fine that we stayed till midnight. The place is slightly off of the touristic pub and bar streets but still very close. We got into plenty chats with locals here, that were just having two or three beers and were open minded and willingly to talk to us german tourists. It was quite a fun night also with a lot of new beer brands for us. The whole interior is covered and decorated with signs of world wide beer brands and tapstickers. We even found a few german ones. Although we stood a lot outside because the weather was fine I appreciate the good taste in oldschool rock and early roots of punk music that was played inside. Marius,...

Lovely quaint bar next to the canal and opposite the river Corrib. If you didn't know Galway you'd probably miss it. Great selection of craft beers and always having offers or special brews for sale. Connor the Bar Manager is a local from Connemara, he is well travelled and a a very amiable host. Sitting outside (when the sun shines) or enjoying the cozy vibe inside this is a must stop to if only to see the difference of what a small bar is really like as compared to the larger (tourist traps ) on Quay st. The perfect place to start your night in the 'West end' before venturing into town along with the 'Sheep'. Great craic , no drama, good souls. Arnold!! Or...

A pub with an excellent range of craft beers. In the evening it quickly becomes quite crowded here. The location is very central near the city center. There are not very many seats but even standing here it can drink comfortably. The beer is really very good. Could try me through some of the varieties and can only recommend it to everyone. The staff is also happy to help with the selection and is available for advice.

Walked by on a rainy night and heard BRASS for the first time in this town. Walked in to see an awesome session happening with a full drum kit and bass saxophone. You can tell this is for sure a local hang and I was thrilled to be a part of it. What a special ambiance this place has. I wish I would have stumbled upon this place before my final night in town. If I ever come back, this is the first place I’ll go.

Definitly my favorite (dive) pub in Galway. Beautiful place well decorated, great choice of beers with the best pale ales, lovely and welcoming staff (even Kiril 😜) easygoing and friendly regular customers with whom you can have the best chat as a tourist. That's also the place where I met my big love so you might be lucky... i'm not surprised that a lot of people call this place home. Love you guys!
