Bella Italia Limerick City Centre — Restaurant in Limerick

Always very difficult to go wrong with Bella Italia (Castletroy). For tasty food delivered quick and pronto, it ticks many boxes for a nice meal without all the frills and fanciness. The pizzas are always fine and the pasta dishes are nice and consistent. The lasagna dish can sometimes come out burning hot and a little burnt around the edges, but is very tasty once you dig in. The Castletroy restaurant is almost canteen like in its decour, with plastic seating and white walls and tables, but it does the job. Staff are friendly and prompt. There is quite a lot of staff too, so you're never waiting too long to be attended to. All in all, good food and pleasant staff without too...

Of all the various restaurants in Limerick City, this is one of my favourites...If I lived in Limerick City, I would likely obtain takeout from here quite often; however, for now I must settle for a dinner here when I come to Limerick! The food is quite good: the dough balls were a bit dry, but the bruschetta will always draw me back in! The pasta is gorgeous and I've enjoyed every entree I've ordered.

This place is SUPER accessible and the staff are bloody brilliant. Visit this restaurant and you will not be disappointed. (P.S. the Tiramisu is sublime and I would travel the necessary 2 hours JUST for...

Today is the second time we have visited this establishment. One of the dishes we ordered was an Italian soup, which last time was served with parmesan cheese and delicious butter. The staff today was very negligent in their duties. Was very inattentive. The soup turned out to be a terrible brew that my husband couldn't eat. Most likely it was not fresh, overcooked and thick overheated mashed potatoes. The taste is terrible. Apparently they forgot to serve the cheese with the soup. In addition, the juices were mixed...
