Food is over priced, not a good place for anyone with allergies, I have ceoliac disease and dairy intolerance and basically had steak (no sauce or veg cause they were already cooked with butter and chefs wouldn't cook a seperate portion of mushrooms cause and I quote they were already cooked!) I was offered ketchup or mayo ! The waitresses were lovely and did try to get the chefs to cook a seperate portion of mushrooms for me so that was nice of them ... Kinda disappointed over all that a restaurant of this magnitude doesn't cater for allergies and won't cater for them either they have the allergies numbered along the side on the menu, I had the BBQ ribs and steak (no sauces as they contained gluten and dairy, no vegetables, I got a tiny table spoon of salad on the side of the steak, small sized steak also I ordered sirloin it was however cooked lovely but when compared to what my dad got he got a huge piece of sirloin where as I literally got half the size of his peice). Good service by the waiting staff they were very friendly and sis try their best two waitresses served us and one who took our order went to kitchen to double check what I could eat and came back and said none of the sauces were gluten or dairy free, she did say that I could have some onions and mushrooms on the side but when the food cane out there was none and when I asked the second waitress came back to me and said the the veg is already cooked in butter... and the went back and asked could they be done without it to be told that they were already cooked ( we were seated in the booth across from the kitchen so could actually hear...

Service was poor, but one girl stood out, wish I got her name, but she was really tall with blonde hair, she made our visit really good, but didn’t see her till after the main course was finished!

Food came out quick but not always a good thing, ordered and within 2-3 min the starter was out, now can’t complain about the starter was amazing, and main course came out pretty quick too but what was I expecting I ordered a rare steak, which came out more blue than rare but still ate it, couldn’t complain it was a fab steak but not once did we get checked on to see if everything was okay.

My friend ordered the chicken burger and some of the chicken was pink which was disappointing, and nobody came over to check on us to see if it was okay! Poor service.

Waited 20-25 min to get someone to bring a dessert menu to us (the tall blonde girl)

Now what I can say boosted my rating was the cocktails and the dessert!

Had two of the mango mojito credit to the bar man/woman they were incredible and to add to that I had an espresso martini after my dessert and it was fab!

Dessert we had the ferrero Roche cheesecake - so so nice, finished it all even tho I was so full!

All in all service was poor but great from the tall blonde girl who served us at the end, food was good! Wouldn’t be in a rush back for some things tho!

Could do with a lot of work and was really looking forward to my visit after seeing all the good reviews in comparison to a lot of the other restaurants...

Very average.

We had booked a table for 8pm, but were asked at 7:56pm to wait upstairs for 5-10 minutes. We were up there for nearly 30 minutes.

When we were brought to our table, the girl serving us was clearly being trained in, not a problem by itself, but we had barely looked at the starters before being asked what we wanted and the girl struggled to find each dish and had to ask for help for each course. I had to literally grab her to ask for a drinks order as all she cared about entering was starters and mains. It didn't make us feel welcome at all and made us feel like they wanted us out despite the restaurant being the reason our table was not ready.

When our mains were delivered, our cutlery wasn't replaced. My husband flagged someone down and she brought cutlery over, but only gave my husband cutlery, I was left with a single spoon and no fresh napkin for my fajitas

The sides were awful, the chips were mostly inedible, full of black bits and clearly not well prepared.

We then asked for desserts as we had a bit of wine left. Again, we felt like an inconvience asking for something rather than being offered it. The desserts were average.

In terms of food in Limerick, Texas Steakout is average. We were disappointed in our visit after...

Texas Steakout was a nice finding. Environment: very well decorated and comfortable. Nice songs and temperature. Bathrooms are really nice Service: The service was nice, very polite waitress. Available to talk about the plates and differences. Starters: I asked for nachos. The best nacho I have ever had. Good ingredients and good amount on the plate. Cheese was delicious. Main: I ordered the 10oz filled steak with barbecue sauce and rice as side. Not impressed at all. The meet was good but nothing that I couldn't reproduce in my home. Was expecting much more for the price (€36). The main comes with 2 onion rings, but they were very bad. Didn't eat they. Summarizing, it is a good restaurant, have a good service and environment but the food falls short. Would I visit again? Maybe only for the nachos and a drink. It's not worth the price.

Went tonight with my partner to use a voucher we had received as a gift back in 2020. Have to say it was the best steak I've ever eaten in my life. We went full hog with starters mains and dessert ( with some cocktails at the intervals). Brie and potato wedges were unreal. Partner got T bone and I got the mushrooms and steak. Honestly was out of this world. Cocktails were exceptional. Service from our waitress Eve was second to none and made the entire evening. She was honest, extremely helpful and was so pleasant. We were so full come dessert we got the sticky toffee which we had to agree with the rave reviews we had heard from family and friends. Overall very positive experience 10/10.

It was a great feel and the food was just like back home! Even the bourbon BBQ sauce for the bourbon burger. I got a 10oz ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly to temp. I asked for a sear and they didn’t get that part thought. We also had the kids ribs. My 8yo was sad it only came with 2 ribs. We got the sampler as a meal plate and split it. The only thing lacking was service. We are water drinkers and couldn’t get them to keep our water full. We had to ask several times for each refill. It didn’t make sense. One of the waitresses was also snippy with me. Maybe it was just a long day but it was off putting. Service was a 3/5. We’d definitely go back for some Texas food!
