I had a wonderful dining experience at Aura Indian & Thai Cuisine in Limerick. The restaurant offers a great mix of Indian and Thai flavors, with a menu that caters to both meat lovers and vegetarians. The food was excellent—flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The vegetarian options were impressive, with plenty of choices beyond the usual dishes. The curries were rich and aromatic, and the Thai dishes had a perfect balance of spice and freshness. The service was warm and attentive, with staff making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal. Overall, Aura is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious Indian and Thai cuisine in Limerick. Whether you’re vegetarian or not, there’s something for everyone, and the combination of great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere makes it a must-visit.

We were en route to Cork and stopped by Limerick to have lunch and found this beautiful place to dine in. Amazing restaurant with what i was expecting to have from an Indian restaurant and couldn’t have asked more. We had Jal Jira Mojito which was refreshing and delicious. Vegetable Spring rolls were good but less spice maybe because it’s also themed as Thai restaurant. We had Mushroom rice and chana masala as veggie option and it turned out to be very delicious. Chicken balti was also too good along with garlic naan. I had ordered chicken biryani with chicken Momos as takeaway as i wanted to eat but couldn’t so got it as takeaway. Surprised to find out that they gave a veg gravy and poppadoms along with it. I would recommend chicken momos and biryani and also the mocktails / cocktails. Would surely visit again and suggest everyone as well.

went for lunch as someone recommended me in trying the biriyani there...I've ordered biriyani and mango lazzi..turned out to be okay one...the biryani served well with fine quantity..not that spicy..yet it is what it is..it's served with raita..which is overwhelmingly sweet..and some salad which is supposedly to the Irish touch of it I guess...the lazzi is the star here..nothing more nothing less.. Good space..great ambience..kid friendly too I guess...the arrangements and waiters are well mannered.. excuse their intrusions here and there about the portions and food consumptions.. consider it friendly... Yet a grooving place to enjoy lazy evenings with Hollywood songs played in background..or as lunch dates with some good ensured privacy..this is the place people.. Go for it..!

I visited Aura Restaurant with my pregnant wife, hoping to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant boasted a beautiful ambiance, with great lighting and a promising vibe. However, what ensued during our visit left us utterly shocked and deeply disappointed.

Upon arrival, we requested a seat and were promptly directed to a corner table. Excited to try the food, we ordered some side dishes and two pots of tea, as my wife had a craving for something sour and spicy. Shortly after, the tea arrived, and we realized that two pots were excessive for our needs. Wanting to avoid wastage, I politely asked the waiter if we could return one pot, (we were more than willing to pay for both cups of tea).

Unexpectedly, a lady staff member appeared, seemingly agitated by the situation. She confronted the waiter, questioning why the tea was being returned. I explained that we were content with one pot, attempting to maintain a cordial atmosphere. However, her response was far from professional.

The lady staff member seized the pot of tea from the waiter and approached our table and asked why you are returning it , I said we are fine with one pot of tea . She said something like “you ordered” , saying that she was going keep in front of me and spilled the scalding hot pot of tea all over my lap saturating both myself and the food we had ordered.

The shock and confusion that followed were overwhelming. I couldn't comprehend why someone would intentionally inflict harm or ruin our dining experience. The incident left us feeling humiliated, injured, and utterly disheartened. The complete lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the lady staff member was both appalling and unacceptable.

The way this unfortunate incident was handled raises serious concerns about the management and staff training at XYZ Restaurant. It is clear that the lady staff member's actions were deliberate. As customers, we expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances.

Not only did this incident ruin our visit to Aura Restaurant, but it also left a lasting negative impression that will discourage us from ever returning. Moreover, we feel compelled to share our experience with others, as it highlights a severe lapse in customer service and employee conduct.

It has been over a month since the incident occurred, and I find it incredibly difficult to shake off the impact it had on me. The memory of that moment continues to haunt me, replaying in my mind and reminding me of the humiliation and distress I experienced. It is disheartening that such a traumatic event can have such a lasting effect on one's emotional well-being. Despite the passage of time, the incident's lingering presence serves as a reminder of the need for establishments to prioritize customer safety, respect, and...

Think twice about going to this terrible restaurant. Today when we went to eat lunch, we had the worst experience ever with this restaurant. The food server first let us know that a minimum order amount of 25 Euro is needed in order to dine in. Hence, we ordered Pulav rice and Madras chicken, both of which were acceptable and brought the cost to 20 Euro. As per their policy, even though we didn't need it, we nonetheless placed an order for a soup to satisfy the 25-euro requirement, however the meal was very salty despite the addition of hot water. They made two attempts to lessen the salt by adding hot water. While we were having lunch, I have posted a review about these terrible services on Google suddenly the manager and the server arrived and began arguing about the review. . They did not take into consideration our 6-year-old companion, who became frightened & anxious, as well as the other customers who were eating lunch there. Even the lunch was interrupted by them. We leave and pay the amount that was listed on the bill, Due to all these incidents, our child became uneasy... I have never in my life witnessed a restaurant dealing with customers in this manner. we goanna file a formal complaint about the restaurant & staff with the relevant authorities Since it will soon become legitimate, photos and videos cannot be posted at this time.

Send email to the restaurant management no response till now however it will be monitored by the...

This place is a disgrace we went here for my friends birthday as she thought we would like it when we had ordered our food it came within 10 minutes and I taught that was a bit fast for chicken to be cooked my friend had gotten hers first and the batters looked very red when she cut into it it was red raw and then all our chicken came out and it was raw as well we informed the staff and they kept coming up taking the raw chicken and then informed that our whole meal was free and this is when we were going to walk out a server followed us and called us back we were then told we needed to pay for the Indian dishes which were also raw so we’re going to pay for what we had eaten which was the rice but the girl behind the till had told us we can’t split the bill and some had cash and some had card she then continued to say that “why did ye come here if ye cannot afford it” and kept saying this I then asked if I could have the raw chicken she had said no u don’t pay for it your not getting it I said fine I asked for a copy of my receipt she also said no she over charged my friend and would not give her her money back over all the costumer services was shocking they really need to learn how to treat there costumers as even the girl behind the counter was very very rude she was ignoring us and everything I will never be returning again as my friends birthday meal...
