The Sky and The Ground — Restaurant in The Borough District of Wexford

Came here on the first night of the Fleadh and was having a great night until one of the staff absolutely ruined it for us. My girlfriend had bought some shots in another bar for 30 euro that came in a box to bring back to her family. Had it on the table showing it to our friends when a female staff member snatched it off the table, said we can’t have shots here and threw them straight in the bin. We weren’t even drinking them. No warning, no conversation, just threw them into the bin bag and walked off. I’m sure some people may have been taking the piss and maybe she was having a bad night but that treatment is absolutely uncalled for and really upset us on the night, shame as it’s a great pub that we go...

My partner and I have only recently moved to Wexford Town, and everyone we met said, "You must try the Sky and The Ground - it's the best pub in Wexford Town" and after going a good few times, we couldn't agree more. The staff are exceptional, really friendly and so helpful. One night I lost my bag and one of the staff Dara, went out of his way (even though it was a busy night!) to track it down for me as it had been (very kindly!) put aside for me when I'd left it in a corner. Great drinks, phenomenal music, brilliant buzz and atmosphere. I couldn't recommend it...

A fantastic cosy bar. This bar is without doubt one of the most unique and interesting bars in Wexford town. Its a really oldschool gem of a pub with a modern mix on it. There is no Tellys in the bar and there is a massive smoking area out the back with heaters on it. There is a private party area to the left of the pub too which can be booked for any occasions.
