I am very disappointed and will never step foot in this restaurant again

The hygiene for me was a big issue as they were not wearing gloves when making the sandwiches and I noticed cross contamination happening when going to pay Which really disgusted me.

I wil not be going back.

The experience itself was very disrespectful some of my family have dietry requirements which we cannot trust to be met externally ( which we’re lucky we didn’t as seeing the cross contamination of food when paying would have been serious ) we were bombarded by the waitress who told us we cannot eat external food in restaurant we were than hounded by them when eatting ( after explaining the die-try requirements they did not care they continually hounded us to hide the food from their manger and than asked us to leave )

I went to the check out explained again to the manger but was not met with any satisfactory response pure aggression and rudeness we never had any issue with any of the other Wexford establishments who laugh when we ask and say there is no issue or no need to ask especially when we’re buying food. I would like to point out we bought three drinks and three big meals and a coffee so we we’re sitting at a table and providing money to them the experience atmosphere and cleanliness we will not be returning here. Also made to leave was very embarrassing and upset our kids also as they did not understand what was happening

Disappointed at how we were treated and how the food was handled.

So the fact that you are saying that this is malicious and a lie says it all and is relevant to my experience at the restaurant when discussing the incident with you.

I am happy to look for my receipt for that particular day. I’m sure there is someone who was there on the day not being paid by you that can vouch for this. As the scene that was made by your waitress and you was award winning.

Before we had the experience and we’re ordering our food we spoke to a blonde haired waitress who commented on my child and was discussing her daughter named A with us.

Your comment in relation to no gloves may be the case when there is washing and caution with sanitary procedures followed. In what I experienced at your cafe this is not so.

There was cross contamination gloves or no gloves this should be addressed and looking at previous reviews I’m not the first to point this out, which makes this more disappointing that caution and further improvement has not been taken and all you see this as is to prove me wrong when steps should be taken to improve.

From this response and the way I was treated by you at the til on the day when discussing this issue and trying to resolve it with you was rude humiliating and aggressive. If you didn’t remember this incident why ask me to speak to you personally if you are regarding it as a malicious lie. You just do not want to take responsibility for your actions in relation to the hygiene critique and your treatment towards my families needs and how...

Absolutely disgusted. I would give zero stars if I could. I’ve just visited cream cafe and ordered a scone. The scone itself was fine. However, I was waiting at the counter to pay and noticed that the chef was handling raw bacon - he was moving it from one container to another. Then he stopped what he was doing to take a scone out of the microwave - picking up the scone with the hands just used to handle raw bacon. I’ve never been as taken aback or disgusted by anything in my life. He then proceeded to take food out of the oven still without washing his hands. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and am now panicking about food poisoning. I will never ever step foot inside that place again and will be letting everyone know about the appalling hygiene. My wife and I had the pleasure of starting our day at this fantastic restaurant for breakfast, and we were blown away by both the food and service.
