if youre a young person, dont come here. They discriminate against young people. My group (aged 20-26) paid for drinks, but when one of us asked for water it was apparently a problem. Nowhere ive ever been ever had an issue with giving someone a glass of iced water, but here it seemed like we insulted them by asking that. we went to the back of the pub specifically not to bother anyone because we wanted to be nice, but we were told to leave because there was too many of us (6) and because we “insulted” the barman, even though we only ordered drinks.I think they were looking for the first excuse to get us out. An absolutely terrible, brutal place. Went in yesterday at 3:10pm and asked for a bo ttle of lucozade, a bottle of 7up and a bottle of coke. The ignorant, disgustingly mannered stuck up blonde prude behind the bar refused to serve me the SOFT drinks. I explained I was 19 years old since May and queried why I wasn't allowed to purchase minerals. I would understand if I asked for alcohol EVEN THOUGH I'M OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK ALCOHOL!! But a stupid bottle of fizzy drink? Horrible experience in a dirty pub, will never recommend and will gladly name and shame on social media. Very ignorant prude working who needs questioning...

this is definitely the best place in waterford (no ireland) to go for a pint of the black shtuf. they didn't do food (unless you're hungry for bacon fries). once a year on halloween bank holiday they hold "boos blaas & banter" which is a nice event in association with the waterford trade union. so if you like workers rights this is the time to go they also have really lovely plants in the outdoors smoking area. these plants are so nice that i just cant help myself from picking a leaf or two off them whenever i'm out there. nice...
