7to1 Lab — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

7to1 LAB in Neve‑Tzedek is one of those rare places where creativity and craft meet in perfect harmony. I tried their smoky “Migrantas” cocktail and it blew me away—deep, layered, rich in flavor, with just the right touch of smoke. Every drink feels like it’s been thoughtfully composed, not just mixed.

The atmosphere is sleek and futuristic but still warm—great lighting, stylish décor, and that central bar setup lets you watch the bartenders work like alchemists. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional, adding to the experience rather than distracting from it.

What really impressed me was the collaboration with the Japanese restaurant. The food paired beautifully with the drinks; you can feel that attention has been paid to both presentation and taste. Each bite is as much a part of the journey as the cocktail in hand.

If you’re in Tel Aviv and in the mood for cocktails that make you pause and savour, 7to1 LAB is absolutely worth a visit.

I could only wish it to become more contact bar, so guests could speak with stuff...

This cocktail bar is a lot of fun.

Staff is amazing, plus we had a tour around the lab where they make the cocktails which was really cool.

The presentation of the drinks and the menu itself are also a big plus for me. Some cocktail bars have a limited selection of drinks, but I can definitely say you won’t experience that here.

But I can’t give them a 5 star rating for 2 main reasons.

One is the pricing. If you are not going during happy hours it’s gonna cost you a lot, and even during happy hours it is not cheap.

Second is the food. They serve food from TYO which is problematic because their food is very nice, but the portions are really small so there is no way one dish will satisfy your appetite.

Edit 2024: something has changed. First of all no more printed menu. Only NFC with your own phone. Since when restaurants believe that this has style? It's the worst experience. Skimming through a printed menu has something unique. If I want to order by phone I stay at home. Maybe it's a Gen Z thing... But at least for us Gen X keep some printed menus. Second: the rolls took 40min to arrive. Yes the waiter announced 30min, but even that... That's your business. Each point removes one star from the review. 3 stars left as the atmosphere and the food is still great
