Brooklyn Pizza — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

I had two slices, each from a different pie that they had displayed on the counter. One was green goddess and the other was the picante. They were both excellent! The foundation of a good pizza is it's bread/ crust, and Brooklyn makes excellent bread: light, crispy, and foldable. And the crust edge was also enjoyable; not overly doughy or hard like a lot of pies tend to be in the other joints in Israel.

The prices are a little high... a full veg pie will run you 139 NIS, but the quality is among the highest I've seen in Israel, and it is, after all, located in Tel Aviv. We definitely had to try pizza in Tel Aviv and this seemed to be about the highest rated pizza restaurant around. We were not disappointed in the least. The staff was beyond friendly gave us a couple of slices to try before we even ordered dinner. Good ice cold beer on tap.

In general, I don't recommend Israeli pizza, unless it's on the way back home and everyone is extremely hungry - which is exactly what happened tonight. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Just order at the cashier, wait for your portions and then eat at shared tables or take with you. We had three vegetarian options, which were fine - it's either that or the fact that we were so hungry! Portions are huge, so two are more than enough for one adult.
