A Wonderful Dining Experience at Alamo! From start to finish, our experience at Alamo was absolutely delightful. The reservation process was incredibly easy and smooth — no hassle at all, which made planning our evening stress-free. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Throughout the meal, there were thoughtful personal touches that made the experience feel truly special. The food was absolutely delicious — especially for seafood lovers! Every dish was full of fresh, bold flavors, and beautifully presented. One standout we highly recommend is the "MAREGLIATA – Specialty Hot. It features the most famous Algherese sauce, Agliata, perfectly complementing tasty handmade sea bass and potato meatballs." A must-try! To top off the evening, we received a lovely little gift before leaving — a small bag of chocolates with a personal note tucked inside a cute little envelope. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that perfectly captured the care and attention Alamo puts into every detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for not just great food, but a warm and memorable dining experience. We’ll...

First off a disclaimer I am American.

Secondly, anyone who has seen a review by any other so-called Americans: immediately forget what you have read. This woman is a fraud. Blinded by the differences between her native vegetative state (presumably) and Sardinia, she seems to have foolishly read a menu as containing entirely paellas, when this is clearly not so. I put to you dear reader she mistakenly ordered the fried fish thinking it was a paella. This is the only explanation for her saying this wonderful restaurant does not know how to make paella. Shame on you Kelsey. 0 stars for you.

Back to the matter at hand… lovely restaurant, would recommend. The staff are attentive and welcoming. There’s a contest to win free items on the menu and my fiancée and I each won something. The tiramisu was classically delightful, the fish and seafood was clearly fresh, and the wine paired very well. They also accommodated us after what’s listed as closing time which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Food was obviously authentic. Give it a...

Spectacular last "serious" dinner for our holiday in Alghero.

High quality seafood courses, presented with a unique character and served by very friendly staff.

We loved so much the small shot they brought us as a complimentary starter that we asked to have a second, larger glass. The concoction was called Sangrilla e as the waiter said, it's really an Americano Sbagliato Sbagliato. Delicious.

For starters we chose to have the full experience, which basically means trying a bit of everything. Be warned: the portion for one could work well for two people if one is not particularly hungry.

The pasta with Nero di seppia was extremely tasty.

For dessert we went crazy and ordered 3 of them even if it was only two of us. Great choice as they all tasted very good and the crema catalana, while delicious, was not particularly large.

Loved their interpretation of tiramisù. One of the few that I would order again.

We'll definitely go back the next time we are again...
