I think the chef has good intentions to bring a culinary tasting menu to Alghero. The menu is limited so you expect to have some diversity in sauces, side dishes and apperatives. The hand made Gnocchi was the best. Soft and juicy with shrimps that we kindly asked them to cook. The beef antricote was good but only when I asked to get medim well cooked. At first it came pretty rare. The catch of the day tone fish was without a particular taste despite the sauce which seemed to be the same for the meat dish as well. We ordered Vennel as an entree and it was tasty with some cheese and orange details. I was disappointed to see the same Vennel as side dish around all main courses that we ordered. Maybe more variety is suggested. Please change the bread you serve. It is not acceptable to have this white empty bread in a high end table in 2025. We just had better bread served at th airport. Local red wine om glass was suited to the red meat. Service was sincere and fast but needs to improve. The toilets are clean. Overall we paid a price that did not meet what we had comparing the average on th island. Please try more vegetables and more lively sauces and maybe some creative apperatives to offer before the courses with the amazing olive oil...
Read moreMy husband and I dined here on a Saturday night with reservations. We decided to do the seafood tasting menu. My husband was somewhat reluctant on doing seafood as he has had some bad experiences in the Mediterranean before, but this experience completely changed his mind. Our first course was octopus which was served in a white bean sauce. The octopus was tender and sauce was the right balance. The next course was monkfish served cold in a sweet citrus vinegarette with arugula, blistered tomatoes, and pickled onions. Nice balance of sweet and acidic with great flavor profiles. The third course was our favorite: handmade pasta with shellfish. The sauce was salty and fresh and a perfect accompaniment to the perfect pasta and shellfish. The fourth course was seared tuna served in a sweet red onion jam with haricots verts. The final course was a citrus crème brûlée. The overall experience was amazing and was great to sit outside while experiencing the tasting menu. Highly...

I popped in, no reservation, solo diner. They handled me really good, sat me quickly inside.
Wine? 9 Euros for a 1/2 liter of pretty decent red wine, yah! That works, good deal & good wine.
Appetizer- Octopus in a lemony mashed potatoes cream sauce. Ok, let's give it a shot. Delicious, really good. Portion size a lil on the small side..
Waiter, good guy, only English-speaking speaking person, way overworked, effort was admirable, but still, not up to par. Recommended Sardinia Pasta, I went with it. Eh, I was hungry so I finished it, maybe a "B" pasta plate at best..
Restaurant is busy, so they must be doing something right.
It was "OKsh", leaning towards...
