The food is above average. I enjoyed the lobster pasta, but the price/performance ratio for that dish is poor. If you get unlucky and get one of the smaller halves of lobster like I did (I saw many larger ones go by while I was waiting and eating), you may find yourself frustrated. The restaurant should probably do something to even this out, e.g., put some lobster on the side for people who get smaller lobsters. All that said, if you just want to eat lobster pasta and do not care how much it costs, I think you will be satisfied.
Apart from that, the table bread could definitely be better. I did not have the side of potatoes, but they looked worse than other potatoes I've eaten in Sardinia. Probably about half of the patrons didn't finish their potatoes. The mixed salad was tasty and a good value for money, especially because it can easily be shared between two people.
The employees are working hard and do their best to accomodate those without reservations.
If the price/performance for the lobster pasta were better, I would increase the rating...
Read moreI don't understand the hype, the seafood was no better than in other restaurants where it costs €5 less per portion and the portions were super small. There was nothing really special about the food that would have made it worth the wait for the table. I had the fish fillet with "vegetables" for €20, so you would normally expect a filling main course for that money. The vegetables were not a side dish as expected, but just decoration, although it was listed separately on the menu!
When I asked if a carbohydrate side dish was included, I was told that I could order the potatoes for €6. Bread was served with my partner's seafood, but it was more like crispy slices than proper bread...
The super stressed waiters who rushed in the evening through the restaurant also gave a nervous not relaxed ambiente. Better serve in normal speed but at least the people inside can enjoy their food and ambiente. No sense of the supposed passion they write about, when food is cooked and...
Read moreWe had a great dinner here! The staff was attentive and very friendly, and we appreciated the wide range of gluten-free options — even the bread served was gluten-free. Our seafood tasting starter was the highlight: diverse, fresh, and full of flavor. The black ravioli pasta was solid, about a 4 out of 5, but still enjoyable, especially with the lovely house wine. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed.
Update (second visit): We returned and were once again impressed. The tuna steak was a standout — crispy on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. It was my first time trying tuna steak, and I’m glad it was here! The grilled squid with sauce was also really nice.
The only downside was the desserts: a bit pricey for the portion and kinda dry. Sadly, we couldn’t try their tiramisu either :(
Still, a very enjoyable experience overall. Food: 4.5 • Service: 5 •...
