La Voce del Mare — Restaurant in Alghero

The location is unbeatable when dining in the evening and watching the sunset, even if the place is a bit of a tourist trap.

Truly dreadful experience! The place was packed, the servers were rude and dismissive, they didn’t bring us what we asked and when I asked for plates to share, he just pretended not to understand (keep in mind I have a C1 level in English). Ce soir, quelle déception au restaurant "La Voce del Mare" à Alghero. Bien que la vue sur le coucher de soleil soit magnifique, c'est bien la seule chose positive que j’ai à dire. J’aurais dû consulter les avis Google avant de choisir cet établissement, ce que je n'ai pas fait, et je le regrette amèrement.

Pour commencer, j’ai commandé du poulpe en entrée à 18€, et j’ai eu droit à des miettes insipides de poulpe congelé. Un vrai scandale. Le pire a suivi : mon plat principal, un espadon à 22€ accompagné de légumes grillés à 10€ en supplément, était tout aussi décevant. Le poisson avait une texture désagréable et semblait tout droit sorti du congélateur, au point que j’ai douté de sa fraîcheur.

Face à un tel désastre culinaire, j’ai préféré stopper le repas là. Ni ma femme ni moi n'avons pu manger le poisson, et notre fille n'a pas aimé ses spaghetti carbonara non plus. À noter que la patronne, reconnaissant manifestement la qualité médiocre des plats, ne nous a pas facturé le poisson non consommé ni les pâtes.
