I have to start by saying that my wife and I are fans of good wines with history, amazing cocktails and drinks. The Mōn bar bristrot has for sure sardinias best drinks if not generally over the world and wine with an endless of alternatives and the AMAZING owner and bartender Dominic gives the best alternatives after the customers wishes! We have been here almost every evening during our stay for 1 week because of the amazing service and experience with fantastic Dominic and the friendly Sardinian elder which also sometimes come by and tells amazing historical info about Sardinia!
They also serve an amazing cheese And ham platter which is out of this world!
If I could give more than five stars this place would have it ! Thank you for making our stay in Sardinia amazing.

They unfortunately don’t serve meals but he suggested a cheese and meat board with our drinks so decided to stop here while we decided where to go for dinner. It was such a beautiful location you can’t complain about being there for more time. He came around to the tables later offering complimentary canapés which was a nice touch. I saw some reviews on here complaining about the price. I don’t remember how much I paid but I remember it was less than I expected for the amazing service so left a decent tip as he is really working hard to...
Read moreThis place is a MUST SEE when visiting the old town in Alghero. It is located in a pretty cobble stoned alley way and the building has a beautiful stone facade. There is no Drinks Menu as the host has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the choices on offer. He brings samples of several wines from which patrons can choose their preference. After serving your drinks, Domenico will pass around platters of snacks, small slices of bread topped with mortadella, radish, aubergine, etc. We found the host hugely welcoming and passionate about his business. The atmosphere is wonderful with the alley way alight with fairy lights adding to the ambience. A must for an Avertivo...
