The two waiting staff are a real highlight of this delightful restaurant: the beautiful tattooed lady who is cheerful and vibrant, and her young colleague who is extraordinary at languages and can speak six 😎😎 He is very patient while we stumble through in Italian! We've eaten here a couple of times and both experiences have been perfect - we'll be visiting again for dinner tonight! The first time we had a pizza and salad to share with an Ichnusa served very chilled in the correct glass. The pizza was crisp and hot; the salad crisp and fresh. We had lunch there yesterday: the husband ordered the seafood fregola and I ordered the mysterious baked seafood spaghetti. The fregola was sensational and the chefs clearly care about presentation and the ease of the diner. The shellfish had been nicely prepared so that we didn't have to fiddle around and get bits of shell everywhere. The baked seafood dish was just as good, see picture. You unwrap the cellophane and inside is perfectly cooked crustaceans and their juices coating the spaghetti. Well done the chefs and the lovely staff.

We stumbled upon this place and the hostess Marina was so welcoming that even though we didn’t know/ read anything about the restaurant we decided to stay and it was worth it ! This is a hidden gem (it’s been around for 20 years) despite the fact that they were slightly understaffed the server was very attentive and informative of the dishes ! The Food was the highlight of our dinner - the pizza was the best we’ve had in Alghero and the baked spaghetti with seafood was AMAZING - the flavours has us craving the food and we will be going back for dinner tonight . This restaurant is not like some of the tourists traps in Alghero but a genuine mom and pop and you can taste the love in the food ! PS: this is our second trip to Alghero and when we come back next year for our third trip we will definitely be making our way here for more than one meal !

I had a pasta at this restaurant and I have to say the only thing good about this restaurant was the location. I ordered “Malloreddus alla campidanese” which in their website (English) it reads “fresh sardinian pasta with pork ragout”, and what I got was pasta with tasteless tomato sauce and a single tiny meat ball in the middle. Absolutely no taste at all. In fact it feels like someone just cooked some pasta and threw a can of tomato sauce on it and voi’la. If I knew I would get that level of food I would have cooked at home, given that it cost me 14 eur for it, plus coperto! I asked the waiter (the young man) for some seasoning (salt/pepper) and he rolled his eyes right in front of me. Amazing. I just decided to pay and leave. Lesson learnt. I posted a picture of the dish. Item can be seen in the website menu.

Do not go here. The female owner is fake. She looks friendly but....When we mentioned that the pasta was under cooked and the bolognese tasted like made out of a package mixed with water and two pieces of meat, she got angry. Actualky when we told here that we actually did not want to pay for such a bad meal she threatened directly with the Police and got crazy. We were just in a discussion. However she got furious. The servant stayed calm and so did we. Honestly, it was worst pasta we ever had and the worst experience in years. By the way, also the pizza was not good and that was the meaning of our friend. The owner is just lying. We told them that it was under cooked. They came with a new plate. It still tasted as under cooked and what is said before it did taste as instant bolognese with no meat. My wife did not finish the dish. At least 2/3 was left over. My daughter can make better pasta. And we did not threaten anyone, she did, we were very calm. I have been everywhere in Europe and even in many placed all over the world. I travel a lot for my job but never met somebody so aggressive like here just because of a little discussion. Even your comment sound...

We came last night and had a really good diner. We ordered the traditional pasta dish, the ravioli (first dish in the pasta menu) and the capu.... Something also some sort of pasta. All very tasty. White wine is also good. Staff really nice. Yes they are busy and sometimes you can feel some are a bit stressed if you come at the rushing hour (it's normal) but really it's a good place and they serve very quickly and the food was hot/warm. So they are a good team. We sat outside not inside. I can really recommend even if it does not appear to be so nice. It is. We chose this place spontaneously without looking at our phone because we had no more battery hahaha good surprise. Also kids friendly we were with our 3year old who loved the traditional pasta dish and didn't want to share it with us. What else do you want. Oh yes also there is a gelateria next door. So perfect for families. I recommend. They have high comfortable chairs for kids. Cushions are available for seats just ask. 4stars for this place and I'm a demanding customer, so trust me . Go :) no pics sorry we were hungry...
