Trattoria Ferret — Restaurant in Alghero

I went with my friends to get some dinner, and service was terrible, they couldn't speak English or any other foreign language, they forgot my plate.. so they food for all my 3 friends and not for me, they said that I didn't order and I told them at that time well bring me the pasta and they say not the kitchen won't make pasta anymore (it was 10pm) so you can get other thing, I told I didn't want, but they still brought some fried calamari.. I told them I didn't want that but they were very bad a communication... Anyways I couldn't have food that night and I had a really bad experience... At the moment to pay the wanted me to pay for the calamari that I didn't want it... horrible experience when I was on vacation.. Very rude and inpolite and food didn't look that good either....

Alright.This restaurant has bad and good parts.It's mediocre. Food items:

Typical sardinian cheeses antipasti:3.5-Average Verdict:It's average. Nothing special about it.

Fregola:4-Good Verdict:Portion is slightly smaller than usual but the taste is good.

Grilled Squid:2.5-Underwhelming Verdict:The squid had little taste and was slightly burnt.

Capriciosa pizza:4.5-Very Good Verdict:The pizza had a very tasty dough,and the tomato sauce was good too.Only problem being that the anchovies were slightly too salty.

Service speed was fast.

Conclusion:If you want to eat here , eat the pizza.The food looks great but the taste isn't always the same.

This restaurant looks so lovely and was the biggest disappointment of our trip. The service was beyond slow - 40 minutes to receive the appetiser and another 45 minutes to receive our main meals. We were not able to order any drinks after our first round. The appetiser was clearly frozen food that had been heated in an oven and the main meals we received were sub-par and not fresh.

The staff were also unhelpful and abrupt.
