Phi Beach is not a safe place for women. If you are a woman, I recommend reading the text below — and if you are a man who respects women, I recommend the same.
Here is what happened to us in September this year:
We were a group of eight people and decided to spend the evening at Phi Beach. We booked a VIP table and ordered several bottles because we wanted a special night.
In the VIP area there was another “man,” accompanied by two other “men” (I use quotation marks because I find it insulting to call them men), who felt entitled to touch my friend inappropriately and without her consent.
When this happened, my friend’s boyfriend naturally stepped in to defend her. From that moment on, we were the ones “invited” — in fact pressured — to leave.
After the incident, one of these two “men” even grabbed my arm forcefully in an attempt to intimidate me. The manager on duty witnessed this and did absolutely nothing. Again, we were the ones asked to leave.
It is sad and shocking that after so many years of fighting for women’s rights and gender equality, in 2025, at a well-known Sardinian club — for which we paid to be there — a man who buys several bottles of champagne can harass any woman he likes and walk away with complete impunity.
Outraged by this injustice, I asked for the official complaints book. I was made to wait a long time before the manager finally told me there was no complaints book available, even though, to my knowledge, venues of this type in Sardinia are required to provide a formal way to lodge an official complaint.
I sincerely hope that the owner of this establishment feels ashamed for allowing such behaviour simply because someone spends large amounts of money...

When we arrived (after waiting about 40 minutes in traffic just to get into the parking, which cost €120 for two cars), things immediately went downhill.
At the entrance, I was slightly behind my group, and when I told the security guard that I was with them, he questioned me sarcastically, asking, “Are you sure?” — completely inappropriate behavior for such a venue.
Then we were taken to a totally different table than the one we had reserved. Even after showing them photos of the exact table we booked, staff simply shrugged and told us our table was already taken. Nobody offered us an alternative solution, and we ended up standing around for about half an hour before anything was resolved.
Eventually, they sent a so-called manager — a young woman who just stared at her iPad and did nothing. The only “solution” offered was to pay extra for another table. With the evening already ruined, we had no choice but to pay.
To make things worse, when we tried ordering drinks, some of our group didn’t want alcohol and asked for cocktails, but the waiter told us they only serve bottles to the tables — no cocktails.
Overall, it was a terrible evening: awful service, no respect for customers, no flexibility, and absolutely no hospitality. In previous years, we never had to pay separately for the table and for parking, and cocktails were available without issue. This time, it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had...

However the food at the ‘Michelin’ Restaurant… give it a miss!!!!! We ordered one fillet steak, which was beautifully cooked however came with a puree and one tiny potato which wasn’t enough to fill a toddler. Not ideal when you are paying €65 and leave the meal hungry. Luckily they served bread so I filled up on that.
My partner ordered the Milanese which when it arrived we nearly laughed. It was basically a huge chicken nugget with some chopped tomato’s on??? No sauce, nothing. Just a massive tasteless ‘veal’ chicken nugget. And I wouldn’t mind, but they had the cheek to charge €45 for this. I’ve had Milanese in other restaurants which was served and presented beautifully and actually had a taste. When the waitress (who was lovely) came over to ask if the meal was okay, I politely told her that the dish was completely tasteless, to which she replied ‘yes that’s common with this dish’. Why is it on the menu then? And being served at a ‘Michelin’ restaurant. Thought that wasn’t a great response when she could clearly tell I wasn’t happy with the dish.
My partner was starving so covered it in sauce we had to order separately and ate it. But the whole time was laughing at how it tasted of nothing.
Would 100% recommend visiting for a drink but the restaurant isn’t not worth your money so...
