I don't know if some of the other reviewers have been to the same place as we have. It almost sounds like a different restaurant.
The food was good, but not great, and the atmosphere was decent enough. We missed the sunset, maybe that would have elevated the atmosphere a bit more.
The service, however, was among the worst we've seen in a long time. A lot of waiters busily running around without apparent training or coordination.
We had to wait ages to get our aperitif order in, which then didn't show until after the starters had been served and only after we asked for them a second time. Then it was almost impossible to get the staff's attention to order a glass of white to go with the mains. After finally getting the order in, still well in advance of the mains arriving, the wine never showed. The mains were served and we waited for a few more minutes for the wine to arrive...nothing. Then we started eating very slowly all the while trying to catch a waiter's attention... nothing. When we finally did we again asked for the wine and the waiter hurried away. Only to never actually bring the wine.
There were a few more annoying things but i think you get the picture. Worst part was that the restaurant wasn't even busy and there were a ton of staff around. They just didn't care. When we ordered the check without asking for dessert people started to catch on that we weren't very happy. We got to hear a few rushed and hollow "I'm very sorry"...but it sounded more like they couldn't care less. We just wanted to leave and then even the check to ages to arrive...
In fairness, while waiting on the check they brought out two shots and a tiramisu to share for us. While we can generally appreciate the gesture it would have been a lot more convincing if they had at least asked us if we even liked Tiramisu - which we don't (coffee) - or indeed wanted any dessert - which we didn't. Or if the head waiter had at least bothered to ask for feedback where the service went wrong and promised to make efforts to improve in the future.
Based on some of the other reviews i hope our experience yesterday was an outlier. I am not sure I believe that...but maybe you want to give it a try and...
Read moreAbsolutely unforgettable experience. We came here for my bachelorette dinner, and it exceeded every expectation. Between the time we booked and our actual reservation, the restaurant completely changed its concept, but the pivot was perfection.
The sushi was fresh, vibrant, and plated beautifully, while the BBQ meat was cooked to absolute perfection. They went above and beyond to make us feel special, surprising me with a custom dessert plate and a signature cocktail to celebrate.
The owners are some of the most genuinely hospitable people I’ve ever met, and our servers, Bea and Sara, were absolutely amazing. You can feel the passion and care in everything this team does. I could go on and on about how incredible this place was, there’s truly nothing I would change.

Read moreDuring our holiday we were in Punta Baja almost every day either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food tastes extremely good: local ingredients, fish and vegetables are fresh and taste just fabulous. Everything is cooked and served with much of love and attention to details. Everything we tried was homemade: from tortellini to chocolate cake. Also the service here is world class! Every wish of a guest is taken care of and every team member is committed to making the stay in the restaurant as pleasant as possible. Here, real professionals work not only in the kitchen, but also at the front in the service. The food and the view are worth every penny. This is not a tourist trap, but a high-quality restaurant in every respect that made our holiday in Sardinia more enjoyable. We will...
