GLI OSTINATI via De’ Cenci — Restaurant in Arezzo

We went to Arezzo on 26th December. It was the last day of a special Christmas Market. Unfortunately, the town was not adapted to the number of visitors and a lot of food places were closed as it was the 26th December. We got quite rude and abrupt answers when we went around enquiring about eating at most of the food places. However, I Marinti was different. They kindly took our phone number and told us they would contact us when there was a table available. It was late but they kept their word. Not only this but they treated us with kindness, and respect, even though it was probably already past their normal opening hours, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. You won’t be disappointed by coming to this restaurant. Really amazing talgiata steak and pizza.

But honestly they need to work more on their hospitality. I understand that it might be a bit rude to go to a country and not talk in their language but come on its doesn’t cost an arm or leg to smile to your customers, regardless if they speak Italian or not. Grandi aspettative malamente disattese. Buoni gli antipasti. Ho preso delle tagliatelle al nero di seppia con calamari ed il piatto non sapeva di niente (non uno spunto degno di nota)... La cosa più negativa è stato il servizio lentissimo!!! Abbiamo aspettato troppo per la comanda, poi antipasti e primi arrivati abbastanza velocemente... Poi avremmo voluto prendere un dolce ma....
