MOMI | Hagakure Poke & Matcha Bar — Restaurant in Bari

I ordered a vegan poke bowl and a glass of prosecco. The poke bowl was scarce, it only had 5 tofu pieces, and mostly consisted of tasteless rice, for 12.5€. The prosecco was also the worst I've drank in Italy so far! It was really dry and the alcohol was harsh, with close to no flavour or fruitiness. It tasted like cheap supermaket prosecco, and a glass is 5€. Inside the restaurant was as cold as outside, really unpleasant since the food is mostly cold as well. For 17.5€ you can literally get a good pizza, a glass of good prosecco AND a fantastic tiramisu in other restaurants nearby. Sono una cliente abituale e mi dispiace dover segnalare un episodio spiacevole legato al comportamento della nuova cameriera con i capelli castani che, a differenza della collega bionda sempre gentile e professionale, ha rovinato la festa di compleanno della mia amica. Abbiamo riservato un tavolo da cinque persone all’esterno, all’ombra, per pranzo. In attesa che arrivasse un nostro amico, abbiamo ordinato tutti uno spritz. La nuova cameriera è venuta più volte a lamentarsi del fatto che il nostro amico tardasse e ha tentato di toglierci un tavolo, sostenendo che avremmo potuto stare in quattro in un tavolo da due. Il motivo era che due sue amiche aspettavano un tavolo: c’erano altri tavoli liberi, ma al sole, poiché c’era un solo ombrellone disponibile. Pur comprendendo la richiesta, i modi della cameriera sono stati scortesi. Inoltre abbiamo dovuto farle notare che, se fosse arrivato il nostro amico, con la stessa logica avrebbe dovuto togliere un tavolo a qualcun altro già accomodato per accontentarci. È chiaro che certe valutazioni vadano fatte prima che i clienti vengano fatti sedere. Nel frattempo avevamo già ordinato due roll da condividere, più poke per tutti, edamame e noodles: non certo piatti semplici da servire in quattro persone su un tavolo da due. Ci tengo a specificare che il quinto amico è ovviamente arrivato ed ha ordinato a sua volta ed ovviamente abbiamo ordinato altri spritz, non propriamente bottigliette d’acqua. Ad ogni modo la cameriera per tutta la durata del pranzo continuava a sbatterci piatti e bicchieri sul tavolo con scarsa professionalità.

Conosciamo bene la qualità di Momi e continueremo a sceglierlo sia al ristorante che delivery, ma proprio per questo ci auguriamo che episodi simili vengano gestiti diversamente,...

We went to the restaurant MOMI Hagakure Poke & Matcha Bar and ordered some items. The portions were really good, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant forgot one item, and we left without it. But just five minutes later, a staff member ran after us to give it back. I’ve been to many places, and this has never happened before. I truly respect that man for his honesty. I really recommend this place to anyone.
