[**Note to owner based on their response: You obviously have not visited a lot of places in the world because at some places you DO sit down at a table without informing the waiter if there is no hostess or a sign instructing you otherwise... If you are that strict on this policy you should be more organized and at least put a sign at the entrance. Also at the time we arrived, there was NO ONE else waiting...we are not blind. Also when I told the waiter we sat down he NEVER told me I was not supposed to, but he gave me menus which at every country in the world means it was ok! Your response confirms how rude this place is...] This was the rudest experience we had in the whole Como area! We passed by, saw an empty table, no one else was waiting in line and we decided to sat down. We waited for maybe 5-10 minutes for someone to clean up the table from the previous customers and bring us menus. Meanwhile, the one and only waiter (young guy) was passing by our table just ignoring us. I went inside to let him know where we were sitting and confirm that the kitchen was still open. He gave me menus and said ok. At some point and while no one had come to clean up our table or acknowledge us, we decided to move to a clean table. The waiter then stopped us and told us that we could not sit down there because there were other people waiting before us. I tried to explain to him that we had been waiting for 20minutes and were there before anyone else and he rudely started speaking in Italian - even though he was speaking in English before. Some advice for this restaurant: either hire more waiters to serve your customers or reduce the amount of tables you have. Also train your waiters to be attentive, not ignore the customers and not to be rude and ridiculous. If you are not able to serve the right way and respect tourists who come from all over world to give you their hard earned money, just don’t...

I'm typically very easygoing and always aim to give 5-star reviews, as you can see from my past feedback. However, my recent experience at this restaurant was dreadful. My family and I wanted pasta and pizza, but despite repeatedly telling two different servers that we wanted to sit inside, our requests were ignored. When a server finally approached us, they seemed irritated and still seated us outside. I didn't press the issue further.

We were also told that each person had to order something, which we accepted despite finding it annoying. We requested water multiple times, only to receive empty glasses. Water didn't arrive until near the end of our meal. Asking for a recommendation felt like a huge inconvenience to our server. We eventually ordered four dishes, but unlike the other patrons, my pizza wasn't cut. I observed the service given to other customers, and it was clear that my experience was different. It felt like we were being treated this way because of my skin color, something I've never encountered or mentioned in any of my reviews before.

The entire experience, costing 66 euros, was the worst I've had. The service and treatment were appalling, with fake smiles and annoyed expressions. When we left, instead of addressing our concerns, they just asked if we had read the rules. Unbelievable il never recommend this place! Oh boy, where do I even begin with Ristoro Forma e Gusto Pizza Restaurant? Let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish.

First of all, the waitresses were about as friendly as a pack of wild hyenas. I swear, I felt like I was interrupting their “me time” every time I asked for something. And don't even get me started on their attitude when I asked for another table because it rained. You'd think I asked them to donate a kidney or something (they warned beforehand, but I asked really friendly)!

But the wait time? Oh boy, don't even think about going here if you have plans later in the day. I could have watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy and still been waiting for my pizza.

Now, I don't like to be overly critical, but the pizza was mediocre at best.

Overall, if you're looking for a dining experience that combines unfriendly service, painfully long wait times, and subpar pizza, then Ristoro Forma e Gusto Pizza Restaurant is the place for you. But if you have any shred of self-respect, I suggest you run far, far away. Not worth standing in line...
