Ma Và Ristobistrot — Restaurant in Benevento

Il cibo era eccellente, devo essere onesta. Ma ci sono alcune cose che non mi sono piaciute: 1) nessun menù (così il cameriere può addebitarmi quello che vuole); 2) ci ha detto che non potevamo pagare con la carta (di nuovo, può addebitare quello che vuole ed evitare di pagare le tasse); 3) non abbiamo ricevuto lo scontrino (ci ha solo detto l’importo a memoria). Quando stavamo aspettando che cambiasse i soldi e ci restituisse il resto dell’importo che “dovevamo pagare”, abbiamo visto un menù scritto a mano con i prezzi (molti) e i prezzi erano molto diversi. Beh, peccato che non abbiamo insistito per avere lo scontrino, eravamo stanche e non volevamo rovinare la serata. Penso che ci abbia sentito parlare inglese e abbia deciso di truffarci un po’ (sono sicura che si trattava di circa 10-15€ - almeno spero non fosse di più). Ma comunque, credo che tutto si ripaghi. Solo un consiglio amichevole: fate attenzione se mangiate qui e non ricevete lo scontrino. Immagino che questo consiglio sia più per i turisti. Non penso che succeda agli italiani.

The food was excellent, I need to be honest. But there are a few things that I did not like: 1) no menu (so the waiter can charge you whatever he wants); 2) he told us we couldn’t pay with a card (again, he can charge what he wants and avoid paying taxes); 3) we did not receive the bill (he just told us the amount from memory). When we were waiting for him to change the money and give us back the rest from the amount we were “supposed to pay,” we saw a handwritten menu with prices (a lot of them) and the prices were very different. Well, too bad we did not fight for the bill, we were tired and did not want to ruin our evening. I think he heard us speaking English and decided to rip us off a bit (I am sure it was around 10-15€ - at least I hope it was not more). But whatever, I believe everything gets paid off in the end. Just a friendly advice: be careful if you eat here and you don’t receive the bill. I guess this advice is more for foreigners. I don’t think it would happen...

Excellent food and service at a level unexpected in Benevento, by us at least. Very good value for money and evidently popular in the local community,...

L'alibi è un piccolo ristorante ma di grande qualità, situato nel centro storico di Benevento. Il locale è sofisticato, come i suoi piatti. Un menù completo e originale. Per me la pasta alla carbonara con carciofi è delicata e saporita, a dir poco squisita. Complimenti...
