Bar Flora — Restaurant in Bergamo

We where in a hurry because we had to catch a plane and stormed into this place quite randomly- but it turned out to be the best experience in our life!! The atmosphere was so authentic with this amazing location in old surroundings and a beautiful square. We told the man working there we where in a rush and he immediately acted with such kindness. Our food was ready so fast and it tasted quite heavenly. The house red wine felt like velvet when drinking it with a lot of taste- pure happiness. You know- life is too short to drink cheap wine right??? The bar/restaurant was very charming with a lot of green plants and again- the man working there was amazing.

Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful experience! It was the perfect ending of our trip!

Terrible experience overall! We ordered a couple of drinks that come with free crisps, nuts and olives, however almost as soon as these got put out we were surrounded by 10 pigeons which flew on to the table and ruined the food and drinks. Not only that however the older waitress then made us try to pay for what remained(even though pigeons had contaminated this). Very very disappointing and would very much say avoid. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great drinks It is the best bar to have aperitivo and some snack in Bergamo or just stop by for a glass of wine. Drinks are served with olives, chips and nuts, sometimes with focaccia. It was very lovely just to sit there and absorb the atmosphere of Piazza Vecchia.
