Ciciolio chiosco e cucina — Restaurant in Bologna

We looked online to find a quick snack in in the vicinity of our hotel and stumbled upon this fine establishment. As we set out to find the diner we at first walked past and had to look twice before going back and asking if he actually serves burgers. The service was extremely friendly and gave us a good explanation of what was on the menu. We ordered a chicken burger and the "el chapo". After a short wait the two burgers and fries arrived. The fries in a potato wedge style were good but could have been a tad crispier. The burgers were both very good, especially the "el chapo" with its grilled vege and lime yogurt/creme sauce. Proprietario di una gentilezza unica... Si vede quando una persona ci mette anima e cuore in quello che fa.. Panini fatti da lui, carne comprata in un'ottima macelleria della città... Si sente e si vede, dallo spessore della carne in un hamburger, cottura perfetta a seconda della tua richiesta, condito con ottimi prodotti e anche la formula menù, consente di avere panino, patate al forno e bibita, ad un prezzo vantaggioso... La porzione di patate, è ben proporzionata, in maniera da poter mangiare entrambi, senza sentirsi appesantiti... Tante varietà di panini e anche focaccine farcite, con buona fantasia, a differenza dei soliti che trovi in giro... Ci sono pochi tavoli x sedersi, ma la qualità del cibo, una volta provata, ti fa pensare che te lo mangeresti anche in piedi... Ci sono molte idee, per le novità da introdurre dal proprietario e speriamo soltanto che trovi il tempo di attuarle tutte, perché saranno sicuramente altri successi, come quello che abbiamo provato noi per la prima volta... E non sarà di certo l'ultima... Difficilmente trovi chi ti fa dei panini del genere.. Provatelo e non ve ne pentirete! P.s: la domenica e il lunedì mattina, è chiuso.... Complimenti al signore che oltretutto, ha anche la scelta di alcuni gusti di gelato artigianali e anche bibite che non trovi ovunque... Quindi sotto si capisce che c'è stata una ricerca per differenziarsi dai soliti...

As an american I was skeptical about getting a burger in italy, but a friend had told me these were the best in all bologna so i had to try em. I was not disappointed these burgers are legit, super delicious and juicy, ginormous, and just as good if not better than a lot of the places ive been back home. Potatoes instead of fries (which were still very delish) and more vegetables than i’d except, but by far the best burger bun...
