Empire English Pub — Restaurant in Bologna

Went here last night to watch six nations. England vs wales. On every screen was the start of the event. We watched the anthems and then all the tvs changed to some football game. I asked what happened. And was told 'we cant show both', i asked why we only watched a few moments before turning over to a game that was 70mins in. Bar staff unhelpful. Said we can wait to speak to the boss who comes in at 6pm about having it on a small scree behind the bar. For a pub which claims to be an english bar and not show the england nation team playing is daft. Clearly the bar staff were more concerned about their friends wanting to watch the last 20mins of a football hane they had missed, than the whole of an england rugby game. Dont go here. Bad atmosphere bad...

I had an excellent experience here and I warmly recommend this place to anyone. Here you can either relax and have a drink, eat or have a snack or work/study and use your laptop. The staff is super friendly and nice. There is both a smoking and non-smoking area. There's plenty of room, it's not crowded. You can come in and watch a football game in a chill atmosphere as well. The food is great, and it doesn't take long for it to get served. They have good WiFi and available charging ports. It was all I was looking for when I was in Bologna and more and I only regret not finding it sooner.

Doy una estrella porque no me da la opción de darle -100 el sábado pasado fui a ver el partido Argentina- Islandia con mi amiga argentina que trabaja justo en la pizzeria de al lado. Estuvimos exactamente 15 minutos viendo el partido en los cuales nos cambiamos de mesa una vez porque el sonido del altavoz que teníamos al lado era insoportable. Nos cambiamos de mesa y era igual o peor y a los 10 minutos nos fuimos. Resulta que me llama esta misma amiga ayer diciéndome que el camarero argentino de este bar fue a su pizzeria para decirle que ella y su amiga le habían robado la cartera a su novia que lo tenia todo en video grabado que se veía perfectamente como su amiga (yo) metía la mano en el bolso de su novia y le robaba la cartera!!! esto se lo dijo delante de su jefe en la pizzeria y de sus compañeros. Inmediatamente fue al bar para el ver el video y me llamo, yo llegué corriendo porque el argentino este decía que me iba a denunciar y llamar a la policia y yo le dije que sin ningún problema que la llamase y que quería ver el video donde se me veía robando. TOTAL que después de hacerme esperar media hora (un lunes a las 12 de la noche) me enseña un video de malísima calidad donde salgo yo y mi amiga cambiándonos de mesa (por el tema del altavoz) y pasando por el lado de la mesa de su novia para llegar hasta la otra mesa...... ESE ERA EL VIDEO EN EL QUE YO ROBABA...... se me ve rodear su mesa para poder pasar a la mesa del fondo y ella supuestamente tenia el bolso abierto en el suelo con mas de 1000 €.....? Como hago yo para alargar el brazo y sin agacharme meter la mano en un bolso ajeno y robar una cartera si ni siquiera muevo las manos al pasar? En fin todo muy desagradable, el chico no tenia ninguna prueba, nos acusó sin pruebas, la novia ni estaba ahí, y manchó la reputación de mi amiga en su trabajo, así que ahora estamos pensando en denunciar nosotras por calumnias y acusación en falso.

NO VUELVO JAMÁS a este bar donde el camarero argentino luego me decía que no hacia falta llamar a la policia que lo arreglábamos entre nosotros devolviéndole el "dinero" jajajajajajaj impresionante. ESTÁS EN EUROPA NO EN ARGENTINA,...
