QCorner-Bologna — Restaurant in Bologna

I actually remember this place from before it was rebranded, it had another similar plausible hip name. Most people I assume didn't see it as the clientele and staff is 99% university students and they have left Bologna.

Now when it comes to the food the price can be reasonable depending on what you order. Don't expect any miracles, the bread on the bagel was kind of stale. The coffee is pretty mediocre, really wish they would improve the quality a tad. I had a macchiato once and I barely saw any milk inside it, might as well just order an espresso.

The environment is nice and all even though ever since the rebranding it feels darker, maybe it's my imagination. They have shifted to more brunch than cafeteria. If you want a nice place to study I would...

Da amanti dei dolci e della bakery ci siamo imbattuti nel QCorner di Bologna ed ho voluto "provare per credere" . Il locale è bellissimo (credo abbastanza recente)

Appena ci si trova davanti al bancone, iniziano i problemi, quelli veri, perchè quello che ti si presenta davanti è di un bello, di un curato, sembra tutto disegnato, che già solo l impatto visivo ti fa capire quanta cura e dedizione c è nel laboratorio per sfornare un prodotto del genere. Più guardi e più senti la vocina che ti chiama e ti dice "mangiami" e inizia una battaglia con i sensi di colpa che io ho perso in partenza, decidendo di tornare anche il giorno dopo. Per quanto riguarda il gusto, potremmo parlarne per ore. Il bello è l accostamento dei sapori e il voler proporre cose anche diverse rispetto al solito. La Danese aveva un equilibrio perfetto tra mascarpone, frutti rossi e pistacchio, l impasto era buonissimo. È stata la prima cosa che ho mangiato e mi sono detto.. "ok, mettiamoci comodi" Il Cubo con la marmellata di lamponi era come quando nonna ti faceva una carezza, delicatissima, che ti commuoveva. Il cornetto special mascarpone e gianduia è stata la scelta che ti fa dire, "guarda che suonano anche Rock and Roll" . Forse questo era la ciabatta della nonna , la parte strong quella che ti svegliava quando facevi qualcosa di sbagliato. Altro accostamento pazzesco , il cornetto con le mandorle con crema frangipane e amaretto, mi è bastato un morso per essere in pace con il mondo Il NY roll bello corposo con la crema al pistacchio , un sapore che ti riempie il palato, sfogliato perfetto. Infine "the last but not least " il pain au chocolat, grande classico con cui non si sbaglia mai.

Per mio gusto se dovessi scegliere , sarei indeciso tra danese, cubo e cornetto speciale.

Non voglio neanche parlare del prezzo delle cose perchè sarebbe superfluo quando si trovano queste realtà.

Il Qcorner è un posto che merita del tempo per assaggiare tutto quello che viene proposto. Quei posti dove si dovrebbe andare per coccolarsi.

Cute little place with what appears to be delightful pastries (we didn’t have any). Yogurt bowls were great.

We had the American breakfast and avocado toasts. Pretty average tbh. American breakfast was loaded with bacon that was all globby and stuck together (like 15 pieces). Toast for the avocado was a bit too crunchy for my taste - more of a hard Melba that a toasted sourdough. It was fine though. i think if we come back it would be to try the pastries which did look awesome.

Definitely not the best but a nice spot that is quite popular. We chilled here as we got ready to go...
