We happened to pass by completely by chance, as we were actually headed somewhere else. The menu immediately caught our attention and at that point, we had no idea what delicious surprises awaited us. We had never tried Strakkino before. Although we didn’t have the chance to try other places that serve traditional pizza, the taste of the pizzas served in this place was more than delicious. Also, the dough was whole grain (or most of it) making it a healthier option. The guy with the long hair that took our order (I didn’t ask his name sadly) was very well-read on the pizzas he makes which exudes confidence in his ability to make them. The best pizza we've had in Italy. The Genoan pizzas were so creative and unlike anything we've tried. Loved the morescina - thick focaccia base. Such a nice contrast to the strakkino - a double layered thin based pizza with cheese in the middle. Out waiter was so kind and explained everything.
