This pasticceria was recommended to me by a colleague, unfortunately I did not have a good experience there. I ordered a cake for a big occasion, when I arrived at the agreed time they couldn't find my order and left me standing there for 20 minutes without telling me what the issue was. It wouldn't have been so bad, these things can happen, but what astonished me was the rudeness of the staff. When the cake finally arrived I got an angry stare and was rushed to pay, no word of apology. The cake itself was expensive and of underwhelming quality, it had far too much jam in relation to the short crust base and was overly sweet. I heard about Risto Palloti from a friend who said he thought it was Bologna's best cafe and bakery. After a few years, we ended up living closer and began to pass by sometimes. The coffee and croissants were always very good.

We recently got a cake from them for a children's birthday, and we had the best service. They explained how they would make the cake and were even able to deliver it on location since we were nearby. They delivered it on time and in perfect condition.

Siamo stati oggi, pausa pranzo tardi, alle 15. Abbiamo ordinato ciò che era rimasto, sapendo che la qualità è solitamente buona e ci siamo fatti preparare un piatto unico che conteneva : 2 cucchiai di cous cous, mezza porzione di insalata di mare,1 zucchina grigliata,1 pomodoro grigliato, qualche patata al forno. Totale spesa, solo per questo piatto, € 26.50. In cassa segnaliamo che sicuramente c'è stato un errore, che quella cifra non poteva essere associata a ciò che abbiamo consumato e la risposta è "mi dispiace, ho battuto le cifre che mi hanno indicato". Ci riproviamo, spiegando che è evidente che c'è un errore nelle indicazioni, a quel punto la ragazza prova a confrontarsi coi colleghi, guardandoli, ma nessuno dice niente e ci ripete "mi dispiace, non posso fare nulla" e ci specifica che è vero, ci ha fatto pagare l'insalata di mare come porzione intera ma, in compenso, non ha battuto le verdure grigliate (ovvero 1 pomodoro e 1 zucchina) Facciamo notare che è assurdo perchè in questo modo ci vengono fatte pagare 2 verdure di numero lo stesso prezzo di un'insalata di mare ma a nulla serve sottolineare l'assurdità della cosa, non ha intenzione di fare niente per risolvere. Non siamo gente abituata a fare scenate, paghiamo e ce ne andiamo ma il dispiacere di essere stati trattai in questo modo da quello stesso bar che ci vede clienti da anni è imperdonabile.
