His dishes are on offer for take-out or you can grab a seat at the counter for a full dining experience with wine and desert. The whole time seated, you will encounter local neighbors dropping by to pick up David’s specials of the day. He is making dishes that even the Nona from down the street will stop in to buy if she doesn’t feel like cooking that day. The restaurant offers a variety of prepared dishes, so there's no waiting—just pick two options and they’ll be placed in a box for only 7 euros. If you choose to dine in, it costs an additional 2 euros, and they’ll serve your meal on a plate.

If you’re going through Castlello (the higher part of Cagliari) make sure you stop by here. Especially good if you’re coming back from either the Archeological museum or the Cathedral. Also great choice if you’re staying somewhere close and want to do take-away. Food is good, the chef and his wife are really good hosts, and pricing is really convenient considering the portions sizes. My wife and I ate here today and we were pleasantly surprised by its warm atmosphere. We sat inside and ordered Culurgiones and lard and roasted peppers.
