La Caravella — Restaurant in Cagliari

Where do I start from? I found this place accidentally and it became our favourite place in the whole Cagliari - so much so that we had 4 dinners there during one week holiday! First and most important - the staff!! Giada (and the rest of the team) made us feel like home. So attentive,friendly, professional! We could see how busy they were and yet they took such a good care of us even though we showed up without booking before (we sat on the bar side table and luckily it was always available)! Food was amazing - one of the best pizzas plus the mussels we ever had. It just had this authentic homemade taste. Just melted in your mouth flushed down with the best red wine (Sardinian) which Giada recommended to us. My partner ate the same dish (mussels) for 4 nights because he just couldn’t not get enough of it! Plus they show football on tv (euro 2024). Every night we went there - the place was full of locals which just shows the quality! And food quality and quantity matches the prices or even better - gives you something extra! Because of this restaurant and the culinary experience with most amazing staff - it gave us the reason to return to Sardinia next year! We’ve been there today to have lunch , we both had some carbonara. It’s been very yummy, creamy, pasta al dente, enough”sauce” from the egg yolk and crispy bacon. The bread before the course has been fresh, crispy and tender . The staff has been friendly too . They got “business lunch” as well , cheaper prices for a kind of menu. It’s located very close to the old town and easy to find. If you look for something nice to eat lunch it’s the right address. There are nearly just young people , it looks like it’s pretty trendy . There has been even a little birthday party and a lot people are coming there to have there lunch...

molte pretese, poco valore. Cibo da tavola calda, pizza solo alla sera, calici di vino davvero scarsi in qualità, arredo che si da delle arie senza motivo alcuno, luci a risparmio energetico stile sala operatoria. Cameriera (1delle2) esperta e gentile.

EDIT: dopo la risposta di Alessandra. Come dicevo la cameriera è esperta (forse gentile un po’ meno dopo questa risposta.. ma non c è nulla di male nel tenere al proprio lavoro, lo comprendo). É il caso di precisare due cose: il business lunch non comprende il bere, non avrei ordinato un pizza quindi il tuo giudizio sul mio ghigno è solo offensivo e denota quanto l abbia presa sul personale, ma chiamandovi PIZZERIA è pur legittimo chiedere una pizza e utile ai futuri avventori sapere che a pranzo non è un opzione possibile. Riguardo il vino, non mi hai delucidato su nulla, ti sei scusata per il bicchiere ridicolmente poco riempito (dicendo che il motivo è che era un calice da spritz, vabeh dai lasciamo perdere guarda online i calici della Aperol e mettilo vicino a quello, poi mi chiedi scusa x davvero perché 4 euro 2 dita e mezzo di vino sono una presa in giro manco fosse Champagne). In ultimo l arredo si vede come confermi che è stato recentemente ristrutturato, proprio per quello non so a cosa tu ti riferisca parando di antico li dentro e bada bene che parli con qlcno del settore, di antico/tradizionale/storico li non c è nulla ma nessuno aveva nemmeno questa pretesa. Le energie positive semmai sarebbe un vostro compito che lavorate nel terziario e offrire servizi farle tornare e non scappare, siete fortunati se qlcno prende una “pausa pranzo” e ancora spende una trentina di euro per mangiar fuori anziche piccarti e rispondere online. 12 anni sul campo ma puoi ancora migliorare. non tanto tu che hai gestito li per li la situazione bene ma il locale in generale, questo è quanto senza offese e senza soprattutto...
