This was another restaurant in Cagliari that we tried during our week-long stay. I was there with my wife.
We ordered lampredotto in zimino. For the unversed, it's a slowly cooked dish made from the stomach of a cow. I had already tasted cow stomach prepared in various styles on numerous occasions. However, this was first time for my wife. The dish was tasty and was served with breads. However, I have eaten more tasty dishes made from cow's stomach.
We also ordered tortellini emiliani, a preparation with a type of pasta. It was very heavy. We also ordered Culurgionis fritti which is a fried version of Culurgionis, a traditional Sardinian stuffed pasta. This was served with Fonduta dell’oste (melted cheese). This was quite tasty. There was of course craft beer to accompany the meals.
The service was warm and quick. They have both inside and outside seating arrangements. We preferred the outside one which was abuzz that day with other diners and people passing by.
We also found this restaurant to be not too costly keeping in mind its location. You can...
Read moreThey have an excellent selection of if we can call so “Italian tapas”. We have ordered plenty of small plates and could have tried a little bit of everything. This sharing style of food is very well-known in Caucasien kitchen, Arabic, Russian, Asian, Spanish and it will be good if it will integrate in Italian. Apart of food they have a very lovely kind and professional staff and by the way there is a girl among them who looks like young Christy Turlington 🥰♥️ One thing which I didn’t like at all are the carton 📦 plates. For me it is sort of insult. We are different than dogs. Sorry guys, it is unacceptable for people from cultural background you are from. Don’t forget your roots. And please, don’t tell me you want to save the planet. Otherwise we will stop washing...
Read moreWe went there without a reservation (5 people) waited for a table for 30 minutes, ordered a bottle of wine and 3 platters of various cheeses/meats (cold platters), waited for 1h for the food to come, we were told "we re lucky they seated us in the first place" and then at the end they charged us for the order (about 70 euros) and charged us an additional 50 euros for the service (so 10 euros/pax considering that the usual service charge is about 2-4 euros tops in the area) - the food was good, yet again the food is usually good in sardegna. Poor customer service for us (and kinda scammy), would...
