Bar Kennedy — Restaurant in Catania

The people working there were not only not friendly, but during the order, the waiter was not able to understand English and he just left without saying anything and without taking the order. After a while, someone else finally came but couldn’t understand neither. As we were very thirsty, we took some beers which were not the one we expected and during our short stay, we witnessed an argument with other customers while paying as they didn’t agree in the list of beverages… Long story short, I don’t recommend this place as it seems they don’t like non...

We went there to eat lunch BUT we ended up having only a coffee. The place looks lovely 'til you go to the restroom. Broken locks so you "lock" the door with a metal hook thing that allows people to pull the door open for a good 15cm gap and dirty as hell. Overflow of paper from the bin, shoes marks on the toilet seat. The coffee was ok, not exactly good tho. I had gas station coffee that was better here in Italy. Besides the boy behind the counter every male-staff there...

Super unverschämter Service. Ich habe zu meinem Croissant einen Cappuccino mit Mandelmilch bestellt. Ich habe dem Barista dann zugesehen, wie er mir den „Cappuccino“ zubereitet hat: Erst ein Espresso und dann kalte Mandelmilch oben drauf. Der „Cappuccino“ wurde mir dann nach 5-10 Minuten mit meinem Croissant an den Tisch gebracht, nachdem ich drei mal gefragt habe, ob ich mir das Tablett mit an den Tisch nehmen kann, weil er ja auch kalt wurde. Immer wieder sagte der Kellner, dass er gleich komme. Nach circa 10 Minuten kam eine Kellnerin, die mir den Kaffee halb voll brachte, da sie auf dem Weg zum Tisch so gekleckert hat. Ich habe dann gesagt, dass ich den Kaffee so nicht nehme, da er erstens fast leer ist und zweitens eiskalt. Ich habe stattdessen einfach einen doppelten Espresso genommen. Nach 5 Minuten kam dann der doppelte Espresso doch wurde mir zusätzlich ein Gläschen Mandelmilch serviert. Ich habe mehrmals (auf Italienisch) gesagt, dass ich nur den Kaffee möchte und keine Milch mehr möchte und brauche. Der Barista/Kellner meinte dann, dass sie gratis sei und ich sie einfach probieren soll. Ich habe die Milch nicht angerührt und sie stand dann letztendlich trotzdem auf der Rechnung. Als ich gesagt habe, dass ich die Milch weder bestellt, noch getrunken habe, wurden die Kellner sehr vorlaut. Im Anschluss haben sie mir zu wenig Rückgeld gegeben und waren sauer, als ich sie darauf hingewiesen habe. Nur Diskussionen… nicht...
