Last weekend, I had the most exquisite dining experience at Calarittu with a group of my closest friends. From the moment we stepped inside the elegant establishment, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a memorable evening ahead.

The menu was a treasure trove of culinary delights, featuring a diverse range of dishes to suit every palate. Our friendly and knowledgeable server guided us through the menu, sharing recommendations that turned out to be absolute winners. We began our gastronomic adventure with a selection of appetizers that left us craving for more. The bruschetta with vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh basil was a refreshing delight, and the crispy calamari, paired with a zesty dipping sauce, was a revelation.

For our main courses, we each chose different dishes to sample the variety the restaurant had to offer. From succulent steaks cooked to perfection, to beautifully plated seafood dishes bursting with flavor, every bite was a celebration of taste.

The presentation of each dish was a work of art, showcasing the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. It was evident that only the finest, freshest ingredients were used, ensuring an unforgettable culinary experience. The portions were generous, allowing us to share and savor each other's choices, fostering a sense of togetherness and camaraderie among us.

To accompany our meal, we indulged in a selection of thoughtfully curated wines and artisanal cocktails. The wine list was extensive, catering to both connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts, while the handcrafted cocktails were a delightful departure from the ordinary.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant's offerings made us feel like valued guests. Our glasses were never empty, and our requests were handled with grace and efficiency, enhancing the overall dining experience.

As the evening drew to a close, we couldn't resist sampling the dessert menu. The sweet creations were the perfect finale to an already unforgettable meal. The velvety chocolate mousse and the tangy lemon tart were the epitome of indulgence, leaving us with a satisfied sigh and smiles on our faces.

In conclusion, dining at Calarittu was an absolute delight. The exceptional food, impeccable service, and warm ambiance combined to create a memorable experience for me and my friends. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a culinary adventure that will leave taste buds dancing with joy. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual get-together, Calaritru is a haven for food lovers seeking an extraordinary dining experience. I can't wait to return and relish in the...

Definitely overrated.

I’m honestly unsure how these guys got to #2 on TripAdvisor for Catania, but it was not our experience. Walked in on Saturday evening around 7pm and seated quickly. Then, because there was one server/order taker for the entire outdoors section, incredibly slow to get our orders in. Later who I thought to be the manager started to help out, which sped things up.

We ordered a bottle of wine, mixed fried fish appetizer, a langoustine linguine first course, followed by a grilled tune steak and a stuffed octopus, supplemented by a mixed salad. Our bottle of wine was a local white. The food was underwhelming and served slowly (probably 15 mins to serve our first course, the mixed fried fish) and then another 20 minutes after we had finished our fish before our primi pasta and seconde main entree courses were served. The food was sort of uninspiring, and my tuna steak was really over cooked, and didn’t taste fresh. Considering all the great reviews, I was a bit disappointed!

They did discount our bill from €103 to €100 unprompted, so that’s something. It wasn’t bad, but with all the options around, not a place I would recommend or...

Keine Beilagen.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful restaurant in December and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. Manuel went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor truly elevated our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. I can't wait to return and enjoy with Manuel's outstanding service as the cherry on top! Greetings from Poland!

Even though the restaurant is next to the street, they created a beautiful atmosphere with the decoration outside. Service was nice but felt very touristy. The food depends. Starters: parmigiana di melanzane excellent. Arancinetti way too salty. Main: Seafood risotto excellent. My husband had squid: one small piece of plain grilled squid with a side of unseasoned salad an stale bread. So basically not really a side dish and very small portion. For this kind of restaurant unacceptable. All in all: the quality depends on what you order and the price is not cheap. But drinks and atmosphere ist good.
