Pasha — Restaurant in Catania

I am not a hookah lover at all, but when a friend of mine recommended I should try the hookah here and that it’s one of a kind, and unfortunately not able to have some preferred herbs, I decided why not. When I arrived I was greet by Ali and he stated he’ll take care of me and to trust him that he’ll make the best hookah I’ll ever had, and he was right! We sat on the couch and he asked us if we wanted something sweet or sour which was new to me, so I went with sweet. He came back with the hookah filled with juice and fruits instead of water and the flavor shisha was passion fruit and blueberry. Me and my friends enjoyed it so much we had a refill! To my surprise I did not feel dizzy and no headaches which is what I was expecting due to past experiences, and that was what separated Pasha from the rest. Also, the vibe was great as there was live music and also food and drink options which were a must after smoking it up lol. Highly recommend if anyone is visiting Catania and looking for a hookah lounge to trust in Ali and Pasha! Absolutely thee best hookah...

To be honest if it would be possible I would gave 0 stars. First: We only wanted to order a shisha but then they came back and said you have to order something else too and handed the menu out to us. Then i decided to order a schnitzel. As a german I could tell you it was by far the worst Schnitzel i ever eaten. The meat was cooked even more dead then it already was and it tasted spoiled. The Hotdog a friend of me ordered tasted like that too and the sauce on the burger an other friend ordered was literally only vinegar which made this dry Burger even more worse. The Shisha was also burned from the beginning so it was more then a total lost of money. Then we wanted to pay.They handed out the bill then took it back after 30 seconds because it was wrong. Then they habded us a bill that was 5 euros more then the previous which ks disrespectful! I can only recommend to not visit this place instead you want to get cancer or something else because of the food. I am still coughing 3 hours after itand I only took 10 hits of the sihsa....

Pasha is one of those places that’s good and could be great. I’ve had the fajita shawarma a few times and it’s delicious. The order of ‘spicy’ fries were just curly fries…but it was a double serving. They’re definitely good, just not spicy.

The staff can be hit of miss if you’re doing takaway…sometimes nice, sometimes kinda surly. Hey bald server…you know who you are. The owner has always been nice. The bartender has never smiled one time I’ve been there. Does it matter for takeaway? Maybe not, but I wish the service was as good as the food.

And yes, I totally agree with the comment below regarding the loud music. You can’t hear yourself think it’s so loud. It’s obnoxious considering the area is filled with hotels and airB&Bs. I don’t know how anyone could have a conversation. Anyway, try the fajita shawarma,...
