Produits frais, cuisine sicilienne savoureuse, accueil inoubliable.
Merci et bravo à toute l’équipe !
Grazie mille !

⭐ A true favorite in Catania!
We stumbled upon this small family-run restaurant by chance, on a Sunday around 2 p.m., just after arriving in Catania, under the scorching heat… and what a surprise!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional kindness.
Fayçar took care of us with adorable attention.
Hearing us speak, he greeted us in French (and in English with other guests), which made communication easy.
When he found out we were Belgian, he started talking to us about Brel…
As people from Brussels, we immediately felt right at home!
With a warm smile, he took the time to advise us, explain the origin of certain dishes, and share his passion with real warmth.
The food is simply delicious, the atmosphere friendly, and the service attentive.
It’s a real family restaurant, full of heart, where you feel at home.
We went back several times during our 15-day stay — that says it all about how much we loved it!
One evening, we mentioned we were craving a specific dish… and Fayçar replied with a wink:
“Leave it to me, I’ll ask the chef to prepare it my way. I’ll take care of you.”
For our last dinner, he made us a special dish, off-menu, at our request:
"A sort of bouillabaisse, Catania style."
The result: a tailor-made dish, flavorful, generous…
A truly happy moment!
Bravo to the chef in the kitchen!
The fish-based dishes are excellent, always super fresh and generously served.
The entire staff is lovely, smiling, attentive, and caring from start to finish.
A must-visit address!
Great quality, warm welcome, authenticity… and very reasonable prices.
It’s the perfect place to relax in the evening after a long day.
A place we wholeheartedly recommend.
A restaurant that is absolutely worth a visit if you’re in Catania.
Fresh products, tasty Sicilian cuisine, unforgettable hospitality.
Thank you and bravo to the whole team!

Read moreFirst I would like to mention our incredible waiter Maitre and the lovely waitress who sat us down.
Maitre gave us a Michelin Star experience- A wonderfully eloquent, soft spoken, considerate, very knowledgeable and charismatic server, who was well versed on the menu, and gave us a great recommendation (the three meat platter). The two servers worked hand in hand to provide a swift service and had excellent communication with the kitchen. We were treated very well here, and I regret not thinking ahead to take the cash for a bigger tip, because he truly went above and beyond.
The food was absolutely delicious- I wasn’t too hungry when I sat down and thought I’d have trouble getting through the meal (I normally eat at a slow pace as my stomach is quite sensitive). I had a varied seafood dish which I can say, hands down, was the best I ever had. From the perfectly creamy and nutty sauce, to the housemade pasta, to the fish and crustacean that was cooked to such perfection that the flavour and texture left a permanent carbon footprint on my memory. It was light yet filling, beautifully made, and so easy to eat. Props to the chef(s)!
Please please give the servers here some love!!! The food was a 10/10, but they are what made this probably the best spot in Sicily, especially for purely English...
Read moreCute little Sicilian restaurant, right next to the main squares of Catania! They are very simple, and the food is at a very good price, generous portions and good quality (attention: for their prices, it is good value for money; you should not expect a Michelin level food, but a very good-high quality street food, and some main tasty course items). The staff is very helpful and willing to accommodate your requests if you need something adapted for you. They even cater to gluten-intolerant persons!! So just ask them. I had the seafood menu with the mixed seafood antipasti, and for the main course a grilled seafood platter. Delicious everything!! And gluten-free. But I had a lot of food that two people could've shared. Accompanied by some gluten-free bread, and washed down by a nice white wine of the house.
As the restaurant name suggests, they understand the subtleties of what people sonetimes mean without having to say a lot 😊 Sicilian wisdom, charm and pride all rolled up in one. They really do their best to serve you.
Good to know: In the evening, after 7pm, there are usually street musicians performing outside the restaurant lending a nice atmosphere to the street. But ypi can also choose to eat indoors away from the...
