This place focuses entirely on pasta, plus desserts and drinks. The interior is modern with an artistic touch and feels cozy. Both times we visited we sat outside, though inside looked very nice as well. The first time we ended up at high bar stools on uneven ground by the street and with the wind blowing it wasn’t very comfortable, but that wasn’t really the restaurant’s fault, just the conditions that evening. The second time we sat at a regular table which was much better.

The first visit we ordered pesto Genovese and a Mediterranean pasta. Portions were much larger than in other restaurants we tried and both were excellent. The pasta was al dente, sauces full of flavor, and they serve bread on the side so you can finish every bit of sauce. A big plus is the complimentary water, still or sparkling, and the staff keeps bringing more without needing to ask. Everything about the design and the way the restaurant is run feels carefully thought out.

On our last evening we went back again. I wanted to try the Etna with fresh egg pasta, but since we arrived close to closing it was already finished, so I had the Norma instead and we also ordered the Crociferi. At first I thought of adding another pasta to share, but the waitress advised us to wait because the portions are very big. She was right, I couldn’t finish more even though the pasta was so good I felt tempted to order another to take away. My fiancée didn’t finish hers and the waitress offered to pack it up, which was very thoughtful.

Overall the food was excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the whole place had a...

I came here on my own to eat dinner. When I arrived, they wouldn’t allow me to sit at the “low tables” because they were for 3 people, even though there were many tables available. Instead, I had to sit at an uncomfortable “high table” with a stool. Too bad about my sore back. During my time here, none of the other low tables were occupied - glad they saved them!

While I was reading the menu, the waiter stood right behind me, making me feel rushed and awkward. I ordered the tagliatelle ragu and a glass of white wine.

They first came with a basket with one single, small slice of bread! I hope they could spare it.

When the white wine arrived, it wasn’t very cold. Not nice considering the hot weather.

When the pasta arrived, it was swimming in a pool of water. So much so that when I tried to eat it, sauce splashed everywhere. I explained that the sauce shouldn’t be watery. They said it wasn’t water. In that case, the sauce wasn’t cooked properly because it shouldn’t be watery. It was literally running off one side of the plate. They were arguing with me about the watery sauce when i mentioned it. I’m of Italian heritage so I know what the sauce consistency should be like. I could only eat half of it. Also, I wasn’t even offered any Parmesan cheese.

When I paid the bill, they gave me a measly two Euro discount and I still ended up paying €18.50 for a meal that I couldn’t eat and a glass...

Feels Like Family – and the Food? Bellissimo!

What an absolute gem! We had one of our best meals in Italy here at Spaghetti & Co. – and it wasn’t just the food that made it memorable.

The Cappellacci di Gamberi with fresh tomato sauce was divine – genuinely one of the best dishes I’ve had in Italy (and that’s saying something AND I ordered it twice in a row!) The fresh pistachio pasta was also a standout – perfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and paired beautifully with a smooth local red wine.

What really set this place apart though was the people. Stefania is full of life – funny, bubbly, and the kind of person who lights up a room. Denise was so helpful and really appreciated our feedback – you could tell the whole team cares deeply about what they do. And Giusy? She’s the heart of the place – the mamma della casa, warm and proud of the story behind the restaurant. Speaking to her felt like being welcomed into someone’s home.

A lot of places serve “fresh” pasta, but we found out some buy it in – here it’s truly made in-house, and you can taste the difference.

There’s a strong family vibe, a focus on making guests feel welcome, and we ended up staying longer just enjoying the chat and company. Would go back in...

I decided to visit this restaurant, tempted by the many positive reviews. However, I was very disappointed. Pasta pesto genovese was literally tasteless. I had the impression that even the pasta itself hadn’t been salted. The pesto itself also had no taste. I noticed that guests at the table next to mine asked for salt and pepper (for different dishes), which confirmed that I wasn’t the only one experiencing this issue. I too had to ask for salt and only then was the dish somewhat edible, though still nothing special. The service was also disappointing - the waiter asked me why I hadn’t finished my plate and after hearing my reply, he made a sulky face and walked away without saying a word. Another downside is the price: in nearby restaurants you can eat really tasty pasta for a lower price. The only positive aspect was the portion size - it was really large, but that hardly matters when the food is practically inedible.
