We went in two a few days ago and ordered two different pastas, one with cozze didn't have any garlic or parsley, it was with no flavor. Same with the other one with tomato sauce which tasted like they tossed it on the pan for 2 min. I never returned the dish in my life but this was the first time. Even though after trying the dishes we stopped eating and sat like that for a while (while seating next to the entrance), no one asked us if everything is fine. I finally had to call the waiter and tell him. Fair enough they didn't make us pay for the dishes, only for glass of wine and water but didn't even say sorry or anything. There are many good reviews so I don't know what happened, I felt like we were treated like tourists who don't know good Italian cuisine. Well, wrong. We do...

There were of seven us and we had mixed reviews. The grilled fish dishes were five stars. The pasta dishes were 4 to 5 stars. The Nero was very good. We loved the sea asparagus with tomato but not so much the white one it was too salty. I had the veal cutlet and to me it was a little over cooked and a little greasy. But the salad was very nice and fresh. The prices are amazing. Very good value. The wine is very cheap. I loved the Prosecco. The tiramisu was out of this world. Maybe the best I’ve had in Sicily. Last service was just OK. They were very busy and not so attentive. The atmosphere is good. Some fun things to look at on the wall. I would recommend this place to anyone! Family...

We had the expectation of repeating the wonderful experience of a couple of years ago. Unfortunately we didn't. The mussels are no longer exceptional, and borderline edible. Swordfish rolls and beccafico sardines were burnt, and the grilled squid was inedible and left in the plate. The caponata and chicken breast were fine (ergo 2 stars). Personal result: cramps and running to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I hope it was just a coincidence. Wouldn't recommend it anymore. Food: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Service: 2 (Nice in general but when things aren't good I expect a different reaction from "would you like another one" at the end of...

Sicilian vacation, dinner, pasta, that's it. After looking at reviews on the internet, Trattoria Da Nuccio was chosen. It was a very good choice. Delicious pasta - we chose spaghetti alla matriciana, spaghetti alla palermitana and spaghetti alle vongole. If I had to choose the best one, it would be very difficult. I think the last item was the best - spaghetti alla vongole. We also tried the octopus salad (wasn't bad, but wasn't outstanding either, 5/10) and local white wine. Efficient, fast and friendly service, reasonable prices. I recommend.

At the end of April, I took my UK students to eat in this trattoria. We had an amazing feast with at least 10 starters, and they kept coming!! It was a feast of colours, texture and flavour. The starters were followed by two first dishes that we all shared. The fish was absolutely delicious and it would have fed more than the seven of us. I have taken students there, since I discovered this little place two years ago. Well done to the amazing cook and staff. Maria Teresa
