The Boozer British Pub — Restaurant in Catania

The British Boozer in Catania is a fantastic spot for watching European football, with a great atmosphere and a welcoming crowd. I spent an evening there watching back-to-back matches, and it was an unforgettable experience.

First up was Roma’s away game against Athletic Bilbao. Unfortunately for the local Roma supporters, the result didn’t go their way, but the atmosphere was still fantastic, with plenty of passionate fans creating a lively setting.

Next was Tottenham Hotspur against AZ Alkmaar, and what a game it was! Spurs put on a brilliant performance, winning 3-1 to go through. The energy in the pub ramped up as the goals went in, making for an exciting night of football.

I had came by to the pub with a friend not so long ago when the owner had refused to let us in stating “Sorry we’re closed”, when that wasn’t the case. They don’t close till later and the real reason is because of the other nights football game when his team fortunately lost he was very upset about my team winning and me cheering. I wouldn’t even recommend coming here if you don’t care for your pub to make business. I will also like to state that the place is very unsanitary, there’s bugs and roaches crawling and one crawled on the TV that other night, it’s disgusting and i don’t think anyone should deal with bugs getting...

No food, but they will order out for you if you fancy pizza. Had the rugby on so the punters made up the atmosphere. The place is like a British pub circa 1980/90's (still a few around in the back and beyond in the uk) €10 for a Vodka soda water and a bit of lime skin!!! so more like a top end London joint for prices 😳 Pints were apparently €7+ !!
