This hidden gem a stones throw away from Cefalu station is a MUST visit! The cannoli was divine, extremely light, pastry crisped to perfection. After visiting Santa Caterina (Palermo) the day before for cannolo I can’t decide which one I enjoyed more. The lady working was extremely friendly and all these reviews are well deserved. Edit: went back to La Dolceria di Santa Caterina and can confirm this one in Cefalu was by far the best cannolo in my time in Sicily.

Mentre stavo andando a prendere il treno per rientrare a Palermo ho visto questa piccola pasticceria e, incuriosita, sono entrata. La pasticceria in sé è molto piccola ma, nonostante fossero le 20, era molto rifornita. Personalmente ho provato solo la pasta di mandorle, che però mi ha un po’ delusa perché un po’ dura e non molto fragrante, e un CARTOCCIO. Quest’ultimo è stata una vera scoperta: non avevo mai assaggiato un cartoccio prima di allora e devo dire che questo era speciale! Il cartoccio mi è stato riempito al momento con della crema di ricotta buonissima, abbondante e vellutata che ben si sposava con l’impasto morbido e il croccante zucchero semolato all’esterno. Le due signore al bancone sono state molto gentili.

Mentre stavo andando a prendere il treno per rientrare a Palermo ho visto questa piccola pasticceria e, incuriosita, sono entrata. La pasticceria in sé è molto piccola ma, nonostante fossero le 20, era molto rifornita. Our airbnb host recommended this bakery and wow! The cartocci alla ricotta were amazing. Wish I had tried the cannoli. The cartocci was the lightest donut I've ever had, filled with that delicious ricotta filling. Amazing !! Lovely...
