We love burrata cheese and were initially glad to find burrata being sold in the store front (which is connected to the restaurant). In the cheese segment the product we bought was specifically labelled as burrata, and we also asked the shopkeeper that we would like to buy some burrata. However, when we opened the package back in our hotel, what was inside was NOT burrata, but nodini, which is an entirely different type of cheese. Note that the cheese was placed inside the counter display fridge so it was not possible for us to inspect the package before we paid for it, otherwise we would have noted the tiny words on the package that says it's actually nodini. This is a very disappointing (and in my view unacceptable) for a store that professes itself to be a store selling gourmet food.
If you want to buy some food items as souvenirs for your trip to Como, I would suggest you visit the nearby Macellena Gatti instead.
