Delicious! We showed up without a reservation but were given a seat in the cozy, rustic basement. It was hard to decide what to eat (so many choices - especially with salads) but one of us got a steak that was delicious and also came with the most delicious fried baby potatoes ever! He also enjoyed the IPA he ordered with the steak. Another one of us got the Insalata Nido Do Songino. It was a very generous size, presented beautifully and the fruit all tasted heavenly. The last dish we ordered was the Shepard's gnocchi which was also very fresh and tasty. We were all happy with our choices, and so full we barely made room for dessert, but we did. The apple pie cheesecake was great to share and very rich and creamy. Our server was friendly and helpful. We were looking for someplace that didn't offer the same dishes as everyone else and we found it here.

I’m glad I chose this place to have dinner in Como, even though they didn’t have any sittings available outside (not that I asked them to sit outside) I found that the place inside is well decorated and cozy with such friendly staff who are ready to help you with anything, they have a standard menu written in the wall as well as a huge selection of salads so if your a salad person the place is for you, the variety of foods you can get in this place is just nice and it’s hard to choose just one thing, ended to getting the Paella, it was nice and I had a cheesecake at the end and both were amazing and I wish I was stop hungry because I wanted to try their Tiramisu, I’ll definitely go back to this place if I’m ever back to the beautiful city of Como, this place really deserves a 5/5

If you don’t speak good Italian avoid this place. They treated us different from when we arrived. Same dishes at tables next to ours were larger and better prepared. I ordered fried Cod with with a salad. Got heavily fried and salted cod and vegetables with a small amount of arugula. It was all so heavily fried and salted it was worse than poorly done dishes in the USA. The servers also checked on every table around us but ours. Never asked about food or if we wanted anything. When I brought this up to them at the end of the meal they told me everything was fine the way we were served. I avoid negative reviews whenever possible but was annoyed to being treated so strikingly different to the other customers. Try any other restaurant at Lake Como if you do not speak Italian.

this place was recommended to us so we visited. although the place does not open before 19, we waited because we were told it was good. i tried the la sicilian(vegetarian) and it is the best thing i have eaten in my 10 days in milano and como lake. in fact it may even be the best thing i have ever eaten. i tried my friends’ orders too, but i think la sicilian was the best of all. there are a surprising variety of both vegetarian and regular diet options with prices ranging between 10-15 euros. i also tried a gin tonic which was well made too. if i visit como again, i will not look for another place to eat, this is the place to go.

Great service and great food! I can especially recommend the bresaola. It was fantastic! If you want to make sure you can eat here, it is good to reserve a spot as it is very popular. We were lucky to get a table without reservation within 20 min with the help from a lovely hostess. The portions are large, so we only ordered an antipasta and secondi amd couldn't even fit in a desert haha. They specialise in salads and have a large selection of deserts as well. The waitresses were friendly and helpful even though they are really really busy with all the tables. All in all a great experience!

This place was alright. Could've been better. Good location by the water. Girls weren't very attentive to us and food was average. Didn't appreciate the artificial crab meat in the paella, this was the 1st processed thing I had in any food in 15 days in Italy. Veal chop was good but grilled veggies were super bland. Cesar salad was nice and a good portion. Bruschetta flavor was very good but the the bread for it was super soggy. Paid about 60 euro for 2 ppl not getting any drinks just had us leaving a little disappointed. Wasn't bad but was expecting more based on previous reviews.
