Ristorante Cervo — Restaurant in Como

This restaurant is IMO not worth the stars that the reviews written.

Firstly the menu card wasn’t made properly made. They had written multiple dishes on the card that you couldn’t purchase (like the milano schnitzel they had chicken, beef and pork on the menu but only served pork). Secondary the service. My little brother asked for ice tea peach what they didn’t bring. They brought lemon. After we pointed this out they took the ice without saying anything and brought straight up water. Then we had to ask twice b4 they brought the good one. The waiters are pretty calm but the 3 serving were all pretty anti social. Like they would keep the serving as short as possible even though the restaurant wasn’t full. Tertiary the food isn’t as good as most reviews treated them. Some parts were just undercooked and the alcoholic drinks just tasted like sirup with no alcohol. Fourth they don’t like when you “under order” (i mean that you don’t eat a lot) we were with 3 and only ate for €96,00. They just didn’t seem happy about it and when we asked for the check they didn’t yet gave it and kept asking if we didn’t want to eat some more. It eventually took around 20 minutes b4 we got our check

This may be of topic and not important but it just annoys me, all the clocks they had hanging have all got different times on them and non were set good.

Also i think a lot of reviews are faked, becuz al lot are just really flat and they all praise the same while all the 1 stars are the total opposite.

If you don’t care about all the negative stuff that i wrote the restaurant is still worth checking out becuz the location is pretty chill and if you have the option to sit outside...

Guests I’ve to share with about not waitress nice story in this restaurant. I’ve to say that food was ok even good but situation what happened, shouldn’t. After eating we just want to pay, of course we paid. Now begin story that waitress says that transaction is rejected, but I get notification in my phone that's payed. I’ve check my account, money was gone. Waitress says that we’ve to pay again I said no before I’ll not contact with my bank coz in 8 years I never had situation like this. It’s not an credit card, it was Dutch maestro (like prepaid) it wasn’t 10 or 50€… but doesn’t matter, after I said that I’ll not pay again before I’ll not contact with my bank I’ll not pay. And from this moment they start to treat us like enemies. Absolutely not progressional, I paid again because we wait a little longer time for confirmation (we already talked to assistant ing) After one minute we paid again, we get information that they can’t confirm it was rejected. So I’ve speeded 2x my money without warranty that my money will came back to my account. Luckily bank will do everything to get money back. Dear Cervo, not everyone is millionaire… try to be helpful to your guests, just a little tip. And more for guests, all things what you get on table (we think that’s appetizer, mostly is gratis or anyone inform that you’ve pay extra) is extra paid, even if you’ll not eat it. Also more hidden information what you’ve to paid like for chips or salad to fish we oreder. Waitress ask us what we want, it was like choice by the menu (usually you get chips or salad as menu, normal yes?) no one said that is extra paid 12€ . Not...

This was, hands down, the worst cafe experience I’ve ever had. I waited over 30 minutes for a simple cup of coffee, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and tasted burnt—like it had been sitting there for hours. Shame! The staff was completely disinterested, and the place was a mess with sticky floors and dirty tables.

But the most unbelievable part? I was sitting at a table they had placed near the passageway, and the manager came up to me, accusing me of blocking the walkway (I wasn’t. My bike was standing between my chair and a flower bed. There was less then 30 cm to pass through if there was no bike). When I explained that it was a table they had put there, he literally cursed me. Fortunately, I have the dignity to walk out of there and never return so I wouldn't have to see this place again. I’ve never encountered such rudeness in my life. The lack of professionalism and basic respect was shocking. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—zero stars if I could. I know this sounds insane, but they allowed me to sit at that table with my bike standing next to my chair, waited until I placed my order, and then started cursing and shouting at me. I wouldn't have minded if they had simply refused to let me sit there from the start, but instead, they waited until I had no chance to escape this horrible place.
