Wish I could give more stars. Food was delicious! But the staff was even better. I stupidly can’t read or speak Italian and the credit card machine was broken, and I was 5 euros short. My wife ran to an ATM but it was out of service. While waiting for her to get back they gave me espresso, and couldn’t be nicer. To someone who couldn’t pay his entire bill.

I was so embarrassed. They told me to come back later and pay. Something that would never happen in the states. I went back that night to square up and they fought me on leaving an extra tip. I would not take no for an answer, but that’s the gracious Italian culture for ya.

Just eaten in this place. Food is excellent, fresh and very good value. Their specialty are different types of bruschetta, very inventive and delicious. The cook prepares all dishes with fresh ingredients, so expect that sometimes certain dishes might no longer be available. They also offer a lunch deal for around 13 Euros which is excellent. The best meal we had in Como! Everything was so perfect! Flavors, dishes, service, staff and food choices. My husband and I came back two days later and ordered the exact same meal the second time.
