I just dined at Aria having eaten there twice last year and loved it. I feel the level of service and food has definitely declined significantly in the past 12 months. The pasta’s were mediocre and quite bland, with more pasta than sauce. But that could be overlooked had the main courses not been so terrible… My Ginea Fowl was undercooked (raw) and my husband’s carbonade was more kidney than venison. And regarding the staff, although my meal was largely uneaten, (as it was uncooked) there was no comment or question from the staff as to a problem/concern, even after I alerted the staff to the fact AFTER paying the bill in full. The Italian food selection is outstanding. Every item was highly enjoyable. Service by their immaculately dressed service staff was sterling good.
Restaurant Aria also has an outstanding selection of wines, 50+ pages in their electronic wine list. Coupled with a restaurant owner who is clearly a very experienced wine enthusiast, we could pick out some real gems to go with the food.

We ordered the eel which I founded really tasty and well presented.
